Naruto: Boy Wizard? A Harry Potter connection

So... Before I betrayed another forum for this one some years ago... I wrote about alil observation I made... Thought I'd rewrite it here and update it...
:::SPOILERS FOR NARUTO AND HARRY POTTER AHEAD:::
So... Being both a Harry Potter fan and a Naruto fan... I discovered what I once believed to be influences for the Naruto plot... obviously I have no more proof than my own observation... but it's an interesting idea... (imo)
So let's start at the beginning... We now know that Naruto's parents, who were both extremely talented ninja, sacrificed themselves for Naruto... This being the fault of the series' main antagonist Madara. This sacrifice led to Naruto being imbued with the power of the Kyuubi thanks to the manner of said sacrifice...
With Harry Potter his parent (talented magicians) sacrificed themselves for Harry against attacker Voldermort... Also embedding a mysterious power within Harry... (love or something)...
Now... years pass and both Harry and Naruto live their lives respectively into their teens while both Voldermort and Madara are seeking ways to restore themselves to their former glory... In these times Naruto and Harry find ways to speak with their deceased parents through indirect means... Madara and Voldermort finally revealing themselves, initiate war.
(I would mention the use of snakes for both Voldermort/Slytherin and Orochimaru... but serpents are used in numerous media to symbolise evil. but there it is if you want it!)
We then have double agents Snape and Itachi... Both seeming to be good guys then seeming to betray their "people"... Both leading to their deaths before we discover that they were good all along and protecting a main character through their actions! Snape/Harry Itachi/Sasuke.
Then we have the eternal enemies/rivals... Senju and Uchiha... Gryffindor and Slytherin...
Salazar Slytherin founded Hogwarts school with Godric Gryffindor (and two others) bet never truly saw eye to eye... leading to an eternal rivalry between their two houses... Seem familiar to anyone?
Now obviously I'm not accusing Kishimoto of plagiarism... After all... Rowling's works have numerous similarities to such works as Lord of the Rings and even the Bible... It's natural for one story and it's concepts to be influenced by a predecessors'... and of course there is always the matter of coincidence... but it's just a fun little idea I thought I'd share with NB.
