Naruto Blocked Sasuke's Chidori

Only the anime can prove me wrong, but anyways from this scan I can clearly see that Naruto neither dodged or got hit by Sasuke's Chidori. Clearly you can see he uses his TSB to block the Chidori from actually hitting him while jumping back in the process.

Why would there be lightning coming from Naruto and the Truth-Seeking Spheres being behind and above him then? He also made a sound and face indicating he was hit in some way.

I think you and the op are correct tbh. It looked like Naruto blocked it, but chidori has a high piercing capability. It broke through Gaara's Absolute Defense as a genin. With Rikudo Sasuke using it blocking wasn't enough.

Naruto avoided being killed by it, but from I gathered. It looked like Sauce just pierced through it like what happened to Gaara. Hense Naruto's body being ellucidated by lightning.

That was Naruto's bad there. Blocking lightning attacks don't seem like optimal choice in the Narutoverse. Seems like you either dodge it or counter it with a wind or other technique. And with the fact Sasuke used Ameno in concert with chidori, Naruto wasn't really left with a whole lot of choices other than to block it and tank whatever else got through.

Why is it so hard for peeps to cope with the fact that a chidori can only graze a Six Paths Senjutsu's body. Its not like he used Chidori sword at super speed. He just teleported and thrusted. Naruto has kyuubi chakra armor around him, and six path senjutsu powering his body defenses.

Look how much Sasukes body endured after hago power up. Naruto is leagues above that because hes an empowered Sage and the Body. Sasuke didnt wven use a six paths chidori it was normal.

If Naruto was pierced he'd be bleeding. If TSB blocked the persepective would show that, plus an added panel actually showing them moving to block.

I edited my earlier post. But didn't catch it in time. Not sure why I put TSB there I think I was going to make another point and siderailed myself XD. I just ment blocked. But I agree he blocked it and tanked the rest. He didn't bleed from it for reason you stated earlier ( being of the body)

Hw definately got hit directly, he got knocked back and was dowsed in electricity.

Agreed. It was a solid hit. Naruto just had to tank what he couldn't block otherwise yes the Revoution would have started right there.

I think your misinterpreting. My first sentence is that is was a solid hit. What Naruto couldn't block, the effects of lightning,( being shocked) and the momentum of Sasuke's attack is what left him covered in lightning and what pushed him back.

I hope this makes better sense. I really can't form coherent sentences this morning

Regular chidori backed with sasuke's physical strength, it's not like sasuke stops the thrust (giggidy) and let's chidori propel itself
