I don't think that matters man, full bijuu 8 tails was barely taking on the 4tails Son Goku... while one 9tails bijuu dame countered 5 tailed beast dama....

i believe the ninetail have an advantage on land (due to speed),while the 8 tail have an advantage in water(since it a ocutopus),that the only disadvantage between the two

remember the time the 8-tail countered a 5 tail beast bomb with his one tail beast bomb... wait that was the 9-tail.

its as simple as this naruto and the 9 tail are really that much more powerful then other tail beast and there jinchuuriki.
