Really liked the picture in my signature so thought I would bust out a draw of it, changed the eye position on mine cause I thought it looked off in the O.G picture.
And if anyone can find me a really helpful colouring instruction video I would appreciate it, or even a bit of advice and good colouring tools to use.

nice drawing. I used normal colored pencils for coloring. Personally I prefer smudging when coloring that is easier than with simple lines.

umm I recommend ya to start with pencils, cause watercolors are a little unpredictable.
To color properly with pencils first choose two or three tones to achieve the right color. Use one as a base, one lighter and one darker. Use the pencil with little and soft circle hand moves around the area. If ya want some sector darker, keep your hand in the said area and add more saturation with the other pencil. To make it look brighter, erase smoothly the area and if wanted use the lighter color.
All I got to say. Hope it makes any sense.
P.S. Also, Always practice in a copy (either photocopy or copied by hand), you'll regret it if it does not come right.

circle hand moves? o_O I don't suggest. Instead always from 1 direction to an another one. that way it won't end up in a catastrophe.

Yep, small circled moves. It actually works cause the traces are not noticeable.

ehh I'm not a fan of that. too much work and the success is not guaranteed. simple lines are much easier for a beginner.

Uumm First time I did it, I hadn't too much trouble:shrug: Actually, I have harder times drawing straight lines (even with rulers xd) than trying to make circles. So I guess it depends.

great drawing, i advice you to start with a black colouring pen and go over the out side lines. then for the inside lines like naruto's eyes for example, you can use a black liquid ink pen (used for writing) it will give it a great effect.
so after you finish with the main lines, colour the picture with simple colouring pencils or you can shade it (if you know how) for a different effect :D

if you choose to do this .... remember use the thick colouring black pen on the outside around the face and the body, and use the writing black pen on the inside (details inside the face and the body). and great job

This will be really helpful thanks, I usually use a fineliner pen which is pretty dark for the outlines and stuff, but i it did around the outside of the face too which is why some of my pictures look weird so you helped even more with that. I would have pimped the eyes out a bit with that pen but my sister went rambo on them and drew on her hands and now they wont work on paper, I gave her like 3 rasengans straight to the dome. But thanks heaps anyway I appreciate it.
