No, no one knows when a threat would appear, that's why a Hokage has to be vigilant. Put it like this, if Naruto wasn't there at the chunin exams and instead was off sleeping somewhere or doing something other than his Hokage duties at the point when Momoshiki appeared then allot of people could have died right then and there. There would have been no one capable of stopping Momoshiki and protecting the people at the same time as shown. It has nothing to do with the other ninjas being useless, the threat was just to much for them or any other ninjas besides Sasuke to handle.

Kishi does use his own life and experiences to craft Naruto's story. It's why Boruto the movie is about Naruto and his family not being able to spend as much time together as either would like. Also why The Last had Hinata knit a scarf for Naruto, because Kishi's wive made him a scarf as a gift once. And of course, Kishi's love of ramen, that inspired him to make the series.

You were complaining over the fact that he is tired. I was agreeing. He shouldn't be tired with his stamina & chakra feats. As I've been saying since the first post here. It all goes back Naruto, yes but his chakra pool constantly grows like everyone's unless you get to Hiruzen's age. The FRS training for example. What was that? 100 clones proper working hard. Physically toiling away for I don't know how long. This before he got SM or God power ups. Logically, he shouldn't be that tired & it does suck. How long did he fight in the war before he looked as beat as he does as the Hokage?

Inconsistency at its finest. Kishi's probably Naruto and his work is reflected as Naruto's work. He has lost his enthusiasm and his fed up doing what he once dreamed of doing.

I agree with you here, at the end we are blaming Kishi. But we can't allow ourselves to talk illogically when Kishi is already illogical.

Look at all the nerfs from characters who were too OP to be beaten legitimately. Kaguya, Shin Sr, JJ Madara, DSM Kabuto, Sasuke and Naruto during Gaiden.

Also the plot hacks like Kage Bushin gain intelligence when the plot demands it, DMS Kakashi, Izanami etc

the dude mistakenly believed that he couldn't let the world down and has to always maintain the peace so he overworks and doesn't have time for his family believing his children would understand
