Naruto becoming Hokage - Does it even matter now?

All nations have united into one bcs of War. Kages don't have the value they had before (they couldn't do a thing against EdoMadara etc) and one of Naruto's goals is to become Hokage! I mean, that would be a big step back bcs the union will break and there'll be again all those disagreements and hatred between nations, so I think that Naruto should put he's goal higher, for ex. to reunite all the nations and to be on top of that. I don't mind seeing him becoming Hokage, I'd also like that, bcs it's his dream and goal since the begining, I just think this would be a big + for "Naruto".
What do you guys think?

the kages would still be boss in their villages. the kages would visit more often and any threat to either of the 5 nations from outside the other 4 nations will help. narutos goal was to be hokage then add his goal to bring PEACE to the world. by defeating madara he has done that, tsunade will probably die, naruto is hokage. i dont know. just my thoughts..

The title of hokage is just a title, and maybe for Naruto, all he wants is peace. But this seems unlikely, and after they all become one, yea, he might be the one to lead that massive group; as I find it unlikely people like Tsunade and onoki will survive this war.
