I was going through the sites music forum and I was wondering if anyone here actually had their own band that they play in? A lot of people here have such awesome taste in music, and I was just really curious if anyone was musically talented themselves. I want to listen to everyone's bands or what bands influence them.

I have my own band based out of Baltimore, MD called The Lives To Come. We play post-hardcore style music and is compared often to Life On Repeat, Emarosa, and Counterparts, so if you're interested in music like that, check out my band. Here is a song by our debut ep we released earlier this year.

The sound quality of that song is amazing. Do you know where they went to record this song? Their style is also really good, something that would be super marketable and would pick up with a lot of people quickly.

Thanks so much man! My band's looking to start recording our next ep and we have been shopping around for different producers with amazing sound. It's crazy that it was this studio because I see he did work with the band Endeavor which are some really good friends of ours now. Haha, but thank you so much for showing me that!

Well you should actually try to contact meet your maker on facebook. apparently they had a bad experience with him. Like he records these big name bands like miss may i or tony danza, I guess those projects get the priority and they got the shaft. but regardless, he'll make good music sound better

or find out if Endeavor had a better time with them

"Well ladies and Gentlemen from the local scene.. You've got what you wanted. NS Studios is not longer in business as of now.. I will be making peace with all bands I've worked with and have yet to make peace with, and continue my musical endeavors elsewhere in other forms such as Mixing/Mastering and freelance work... I played a role in this decision, but so did you. I've made it right with most bands, and intend to do so with everyone else, but this local scene has beat me down to the point where I no longer have a passion for owning a recording studio. I, Nicholas Scott, will, however, continue to pursue my dreams as a producer.. Just not here. Time for some planning."

Seems like this issue seems to be becoming a popular sort of thing happening with producers. I know when we went to record the ep we just released, it took the dude a couple months to get it back to us. Put us on the back burner for other bands he was more interested in recording. It's hard to find professional people to work with.

Wow, it's really amazing. Does indeed remind me of A Day To Remember and other bands within the genre!
