As the squads reached the gates of Alexandr's citadel, a strange ominous feeling swept over them all, as they came to a harsh realization.
Izuna Uchiha: This started as an expedition to save "Naruto Base" from HACK3R...
Versuvio:...And its escallated to stopping the single most influential man in the world from staring a complete Dictatorship...
Nexus:We have the element of surprise...for now...lets make a plan... Zanji?
Zanji Uchiha: Hm, well...I think Izuna, Nexus, and Versuvio should head straight for Alexandr; you will be more than likely the ones fighting him. Rei, BiBi, and I will stay with you for a while, and ruin their defenses, dwindle their forces and armory, and reek havoc on their mainframe. Tobi, Bishamansama, "Grimm", you guys, well, just run a muck, and go wild. Agreed?
All: Agreed.
Zanji Uchiha: All right, BiBi, give us all the information we have...
BiBi: Well, Alexandr's citadel is the WWW's headquarters. Its a 5 story temple-like structure, with a large field in the middle of an octagon-like building. It also has a thin spire, fourteen stories high, in the middle of the field. The spire is just that; a spire. There are no rooms in it, except the Observatory, and I'll bet you a month's pay, that's where he is at.
TOBI: Excuse me if I'm wrong but aren't there four URLieutenant's?
"Grimm' I think Tobi's right, I coulda sworn there was more than one.
Versuvio: There was. Alexandr, Dominic, his brother, Benjamin, my grandfather, and Ashley, Alexandr's sister. Ashley died of cancer, while my grandfather past away of old age; he was ninety-two. Dominic should still be alive, that's the only thing that seems out of place.
Rei Uchiha: Wait, your grandfather was Albators?
Versuvio: Yes, he was appointed by the UN when I was four.
About this time, Zanji walked back, a small box in his hand.
Zanji Uchiha: Alright, the C4 is set, you ready to start? After this...there's no turning back...
Everyone nodded, and Zanji pressed the button, and the citadel's doors exploded, revealing the dazzling marble halls that was the Star Dome.
As they rushed in, Bishamonsama, Tobi, and "Grimm" immediately started firing, leaving explosions of every element in their wake, killing Alexandr's guard almost as quickly as they came.
Bishamonsama:Go, we'll start clearing the levels, but if you can take them out as you come across them, you won't hear me complaining.
They nodded, and left the ground floor for the stairs, leaving the three fighters to their work.
As they came to the second floor, they looked at the window, and gasped at what they saw.
Izuna Uchiha: What the heck is that? Some kinda Mega-Cannon?!
BiBi tapped a button on her CoTe, and gasped.
BiBi:Its a positron cannon.
They all blinked.
Izuna Uchiha: Like in Sci-Fi?
BiBi: Okay, listen. A photon is basicly. Light, and if you single out a certain wave length, they become a laser. Now, this isn't Star Wars, and we all know lasers are only good in incredibly small spaces, which is why they are usually used for carving sheet metal. Now, a Positron is an electron with a positive charge. Photons are emitted when an electron gets "excited" and moves through an atoms energy level; that's how it stables itself. Now, when this happens with a positron it emits a special type of photon, that can be concentrated a thousand fold, and is much more effective as a laser. No one knows why it works, it just does. But...a laser that strong...It's powerful enough to wipe "Naruto Base" out of existence...at only 1/4 power...And that's exactly where its pointed.
They all blinked again.
BiBi: *sighs* Its a big laser cannon, and it will destroy "Naruto Base" if we don't destroy it.
Izuna Uchiha: All I needed to know. So, how do we get rid of it?
BiBi:I believe Zanji is the heavy demolition expert.
Zanji smiled.
Zanji Uchiha: When in doubt, C4.
A few moments later, Zanji and Izuna stood back to back, looking around some topiary, out to the large cannon in the middle of the yard, and the many "HACK3R" (for that's what they had christened them, being an easy way to name the enemy.)
Izuna poked his SCAR's barrel around it, and fired, and there was a large crackling sound.
Zanji Uchiha: Electromagnetic Murder?
Izuna Uchiha: Yep. Rei, got that bullet I gave you ready?
Rei Uchiha: Locked and loaded, waiting on your signal.
Izuna Uchiha: Just what I like to hear. Come on Zanji, lets go set the charges.
About five minutes later, there was a large amount of C4 in vital weak points of the cannon. Suddenly they came under fire.
Izuna Uchiha: Dang it! If they hit the explosives, we're done for!
Zanji Uchiha: Not necessarily, these are special charges I made myself, and they have to be detonated to be set off...Most of the time.
Izuna Uchiha: I swear, after this is over, I'm handing in my Two weeks notice to Versuvio.
There was suddenly a large rumbling, and then, silence.
Bishamonsama Need some help?
Izuna Uchiha: Dude, I don't think I've ever been happier to see you in my life, but now's not the time; lets go.
Another moment later, and they stood behind Rei, who was looking through the scope of her rifle.
Rei Uchiha: Permission to fire?
Versuvio: Affirmative, proceed when ready.
Rei Uchiha: Here goes nothing.
She pulled the trigger, and the bullet fired, aimed precisely at the biggest C4 block. Halfway to it, it erupted into an enormous black fire ball. There was a large explosion from the C4, that quickly turned to black flames, and in a matter of seconds, there was no evidence the cannon even existed, except a black scorch mark on the ground.
Rei Uchiha: Amaterasu Bullet?
Izuna Uchiha: I thought it might come in handy. I have two more.
Suddenly, hundreds more "HACK3R" poured in.
Nexus: Dang it, how will we get to the Peace Spire now?
Rei Uchiha: You, Izuna, and Versuvio go. Me, Zanji and the rest will hold them off here.
Izuna Uchiha: Thanks, Rei.
BiBi: Be careful. I managed to disable all the security, but the Observatory is huge, and, well, I don't know what tricks Alexandr may have installed.
Izuna Uchiha: Will do, thanks guys.
After five minutes of horrible elevator music, Izuna, Nexus, and Versuvio stood in a brilliant white marble hall. Many old artifacts lined the walls, will golden curtains and trim lined the rest of the room. The ceiling rotated, showing all the constellations of the night sky, and the position of every NET. They walked through the marvelous hall, until they reached a giant ivory door, inlaid with gold and silver, made to look like the Orion Constellations. They opened the door, and stepped into the Star Dome.
The walked into a room, made entirely of clear quartz Crystal, it magnifying the night sky. There in the middle of the room, sat Alexandr, his white hair flowing behind him. Across the room, laid against the wall, was a bloodied Dominic, barely alive.
Alexandr: I see your finally here...Nephew...
Izuna Uchiha: I cut all ties with you long ago.
A powerful energy filled the air.
Alexandr: Haha, so you think you can kill me? Hm? Well, we will see. Ah, you've even brought Versuvio, the Materian, and Nexus, the Restorer.
Versuvio:I didn't know you where a restorer too.
Izuna Uchiha: You can have more than one brand? I thought your "God's Eyes" where a Kekkai Genkai?
Nexus:No, in rare cases, you can have two brands. I'm a "Naruto-user" and a "Restorer", Versuvio is a "Naruto-user" and a "Matterian" and you, your a "Naruto-user" and a "Judge", the reason you have the Monogoroko Mangekyou Sharingan, which is effectively the next step after EMS. I can heal any injury; on myself, or anyone else, as long as its not overly fatal.
Alexandr: I don't know why you won't let me go through with my plan, it saves everyone a lot of trouble. It kills 100% of the normals and several hundred thousand of the specials. War will stop and so will the other problems, with me at the helm of it all. Don't you see-
Izuna Uchiha:No, I do see. Ever since Emma died, now I know due to your plans, my eyes opened more than they had ever been. I am blind to the world no longer. We need change, more than anything, and Earth's desolation was the first step. We need an honorable man at the helm, and I will fight to my dying breath to see that man appointed, and Emma avenged. My eyes are open. Earth, no humanity, doesn't need a leader. It doesn't need a hero. It needs a savior. Prepare to die, for everything you've done! Are you guys ready?!
Nexus: Yeah.
Versuvio: You know it.
Izuna's Monogoroko Mangekyou Sharingan activated.
Izuna Uchiha: This is for everyone!!!
Next, the final fight...
