Same here. I would watch the early part 1 episodes every Saturday night on CN up until the fillers between part 1 and Shippuden. I stopped watching then and didn't get back into the story for several years.

Some fillers are quite good, i might re-watch the whole prequel before going to the cinemas theater to watch the last naruto the movie. ^
