I'm not enjoying the plot anymore..
I followed this series for 7 years now, at the beginning of the Pain-Jiraya fight...
I read Naruto week in and week out. Waited for Wednesday just to read it.
Watched the anime, played the video games. Naruto was my life in the past basically.

But it's different now. I don't enjoy the manga at all. This arc is bad, really bad when compared to the previous ones.
Only Kaguya, Naruto, Sasuke and Obito are involved.
Alot of bashing is around, which makes me sad for the series I love. But to say the truth this arc deserves all kinds of bashing.

I'm a hardcore fan so dropping the series isn't an option.

I really confused...

I'd like to hear your thoughts people.

I feel exactly as you .... but be patient and wait for Some good chapters .

After Madara has gone this manga lost its final entertainment and by his return ..... the entertainment will return .

The series aren't for us to determine. Kishimoto is now at the great finale of everything and it is really hard to fill all the expectations. The managa yes has lost what it had before but still, I like to wait and see till the Status says completed to judge it accordingly. My suggestion wait and stick to it a little while longer.

I feel quite the same about this arc. It seems haphazardly put together. The plot is pretty boring, the concept of these guys defining what it means to be a shinobi is not only redundant to what was being discussed 50 plus chapters ago but also uninteresting because of Kaguya's past being brought into play. Character development is stagnant with only Kaguya and BZ really being progressed but they're being vague about everything which gets old since we've just been shifting to villain after villain. Kaguya's character doesn't seem like it's panning out to be interesting enough to be an antagonist IMO

It could just be the arc but it's really got me discouraged about the manga, I don't look forward to Wednesdays the way I used to when it comes to Naruto.

I'm perfectly fine with the arc itself (I love the transition from ninjutsu to a whole different level of energy usage/manipulation as a way of fighting, along with the pacing of the last chapters) . The only thing I don't like is Kaguya being the final villain; in spite of the fact that I like her character, it was quite an inharmonious and discordant plot twist, in my opinion.

Madara was the perfect final villain. There was no need for him to be ripped apart the way he was.

You're not saying why you don't like it.. Do you not like it because you see other people not like it and you just want to follow them
I follow no one.

I don't like because the plot isn't good. Limited characters and slow progression. I miss the Akatsuki.

The fights aren't good too.
I'd rather watch fights like Sasuke vs Itachi than watch current fights.
Even tho characters are 10x stronger, kishi doesn't put good fights anymore.

i agree with this ,loads of people here are really easy to influence on this base. Maybe because most of them are children....but i won't generalize
I could care less about what's happening. I just want good material and a good ending to this long anime/manga. I want to look back and say : "This was a one of a kind anime".

It's really hard for me to pass this kind of judgement since I've been with this series since day 1, but I'm going to throw it out there anyway. Now, I am a fan of Naruto, I always have been. To give you an idea, I'll list things I have done/own as well. I have watched all of the movies, all of part 1, and all the good parts of part 2. I have read every chapter from the very first to current. I own a headband, a few of the original cards from the game, a couple of posters, a Naruto Collector mag (not sure of the specific name), own two games, and also have done fan art here and there.

Now, I'm not one to brag, I know this is nothing compared to some fans out there.. but I'm not exactly a novice newbie fan either. So my opinion of the manga isn't based just on part 2.

Part 1 was geared to a younger audience in a sense and it grew along with us. I will not deny the fact that part 2 was meant to show the full growth of everyone since part 1, meaning that they had more chakra based attacks. So instead of the really cool fights showing the Jonin fighting using jutsu, everyone had it. I will also not deny the fact that everyone was now using bigger jutsu, that the fights got dull at times. However, I'm one of those readers that follows the story a bit more than the fights.

From day 1, we followed Naruto and his friends around, the premise of the story was, and still is; "growing-up, team work, acceptance of individuals and life problems, coping. Following ones goals and dreams." Along with "respect, selflessness, importance of friends and family." With that all listed off, Naruto has taught a lot of values if you look at it that way. I guess you can also call it a history lesson as well since it's based off of japanese folk stories and myths.

I'm sure if some individual sat down and took the time to slightly re-write the series and make the fights dulled down and highlight these listed qualities, there would be a very touching and meaningful message type story that no one could miss or deny.

So, as a series, this is a pretty good one. Especially if it held onto us since we were kids. Now, as a segment of the story.. like the final segment before the ending. It seems rushed. (this is the thing I didn't want to pass judgement on since I don't know Kishi's plans). I feel like he's trying to end this as fast as possible, but without really ruining it. He's also rushing to answer a lot of things (this could have been done differently). I just feel like he wants to move on to the next thing he has planned, I'm not sure why.. it's just how his writing is speaking to me at some points.

Sorry for the long read!

People dislike what others dislike. Proganda has many forms. Action isn't what makes a manga. Power scaling was bound to happen, it does for every manga. People's reasoning for disliking this manga is so shallow and almost sounds like you're perusing the manga for cool looking panels.

That is very true, people claim that the manga's power scaling has gone out of control but that happens in every Shounen manga, they should read Shaman King, it went from sword fights to a villain that could create black holes and manipulate the universe.
