This scene was made even more touching because of two separate scenes in the movie beforehand. Naruto was shown in his room, with posters and ramen and the sort, looking outside at the snow. Hinata was shown in the very European influenced Hyuuga living room knitting a scarf for Naruto. This ending shows the combination of both scenes and rooms. Naruto even has a poster on the left saying "No Ramen No Life" and he is once again with the snow, though this time he is practicing punches. Hinata is in their living room knitting a new scarf.

..And then the two kids come running into the frame from offscreen stage right. I believe Himawari even slipped and fell at the turn. It was artfully made in my opinion.

Naruto being a father means a lot. Remember when he started in the beginning showing off to get attention? Not fitting in with the other kids, and everyone else shunning him?

Look at him now, man. Now our boy Naruto is a father ... Kishi can bring the feels.
