we are currently at 656 so 63 chapters to catch up.
1 Episode is basically 3 chapters so its 21 weeks from now on
Its 5 months to arrive chapter 656 in the anime.

Just wanted to share this with you guys.

The episode after that will be Naruto/Kakashi/Gai fighting Tobi
The episode after that will reveal who Tobi is (the episode names for all three of these episodes have already been revealed, so these are all true)

Since these episodes will last until the end of 2013, I think that we'll get a season of filler after Tobi's reveal. And if not, then definitely within an episode or two after that, since manga readers know that waiting any longer than 1-3 episodes after Tobi's reveal will be hard to interrupt.

Really? :| Damn, now I wouldn't mind some fillers because I don't want the anime to be rushed. :eww: Having no fillers will mean that canon will be rushed and if it is rushed, then it will more than likely be ruined. U_U Maybe the only logical reason why we should have some fillers after "Tobi reveal" episode. :heh: Some fans need to understand, fillers are not so bad afterall. :yeah:

No. Wrong.
Anime must only be show at least about >1yr. after manga. This is the internationally standard rule.
Same for cinema movies, DVD movies is only available about half year from screening period. (not to sure about timing).
This Naruto manga is created by Kishi, but the ownership is SJ (Shonen Jump).
Because once SJ had paid to Kishi, the copyright belong to SJ. (as Manager).
Of course, Kishi will still receive some royalty, being the creator. The other part to SJ weekly magazine.

One episode = one chapter.
There will be some difference, as anime is done by other group (such as TV Tokyo).
So this week manga will be show 1 yr later.
Your calculation could be see one year later, end Dec 2013 (estimate).
That is why there are fillers....

I'm afraid you'll have to wait until the January schedule is confirmed, sometime mid/end December.

They don't cover 3 chapters every episode, it's closer to 2. So it would take a lot longer than that to catch up.

Also the anime director confirmed a few months ago that they have fillers planned after volume 63, but he didn't say exactly when they will be.

I've heard that the fillers after Tobi's reveal are gonna be interesting at they would also connect to the main story. Or probably they should make half-canon-half-filler kinda thingy, so that atleast I can skip half the episode without waiting for months for canon again.
