Naruto: anime or manga, which do u prefer?

In naruto part 1, i liked the anime much more then i do the manga but in shippuden it´s the complete opposite, the shippuden anime ****** sucks and i think whatever damn studio is producing it right now should get their ****** shitty amature hands off of it and give it back to the old one, but that´s my opinion, what do u think?

the manga has always been better its a more cohesive story and you get the sense that in shippuden naruto really does develop as a ninja

I totally agree with you... I used to love the part one anime but I used to read it at the same time... The shippuden anime is a disaster I can't even call it anime. It's a real shame as the battles have become alot more epic yet this animation team just generally suck and ruin them... Anyone remember Naruto vs Pain? .

Also I don't understand why some filler eps are better animated than the cannon eps... I also don't understand why they feel they need to create so many too. I get the feeling they're trying to drag it out to maximise on profit.

It's just a shame!

Manga is more like script in the movies, the anime is the finish product just like movies.

I definitely prefer the anime in Shippudens case- no real reason, I love how the animation has matured & i'm one of those people who really doesn't mind filler. I bought 2 whole seasons of Naruto fillers just for fun :'D

I can admit to never actually having read the manga to part 1 but if its pacing was any better than the original series. Then yes, I prefer the manga in that case.

I like both, but I perfer the anime in some cases. Certain episodes make the best chapters even better. I thought that Chapters 437-440 and 486 in particular were done really well. Filler I don't mind, because certain characters get more screentime and development.
