Naruto Anime gets so confusing

Doesnt the Naruto Anime/Manga get so confusing and hard to keep up with at times? I love the Show but it does get hard trying to keep up with all of the facts. Making sure everything makes sense. This is one of the only Anime that u have to sometimes literally go back and study an episode just to prove ur point. This kind of makes you appreciate more simplier Anime like Hunter x Hunter for example

In the anime Zetsu said "Itachi is invincible" when they showed Susanoo and its weapons for the first time in the series. I looked in the manga to see if that's stated anywhere and couldn't find it, so yea it is confusing and kinda get them mixed up...

I think that Naruto is an anime that I'll watch when the manga ends so I know all that is wrong regarding the anime and don't get tripped by it.
