ok so naruto is known for always bringing in good animation from time to time and i just wanted to share something with you about the animators
heres a list of episodes directed by special animators who are given an extra budget to make everything look much better. All are action packed.

i bolded those names because they are really big factors to the anime
hirofumi suzuki is frequently helping in the anime with animation and animates some of the best episodes imo.
atsushi wakabayashi is renowned as one of the best aniomators in japan and works in small teams and delivers really loose animation
the biggest animator in the naruto series and considered the best is hiroyuki yamashita the great U_U
hes pretty much had a hand in all the naruto animations and does sme of the best jobs
as the leading director in the bee vs sasuke fight
the madara vs konan fight and the superb animation for the kyuubi incident flashback
hes also done lots of work in the movies like "naruto shippuden: blood prison" and directed the cutscene from nunsg
this guy is really amazing and you can sometimes spot his work
The fingernails also have a recognizable half-moon shape, which is always closed (the lines that define the fingernails are never left open).
You can also notice how the shapes formed by the hands and the way fingers are placed follow recurring patterns:

I realize trying to describe animation with words may not be the best thing, so here's a list of basically everything he has done since he started working on Naruto. There is no official confirmation on this list, but I'm 90% sure of most of the stuff there.

just by looking at the preview you can identify this as yamashita's work
this is why im so excited about next weeks episode
madara vs the alliance is going to be great and the two episodes afterwards are planned to have good animation aswell

are the best animators from naruto in that order basing it off of artwork and animation
i just thought i'd share this
i also want to point out that studio pierrot adds an extra budget to more important and impactful moments in the anime like those that yamashita work on for your viewing entertainment.
so for episodes like todays where nothing conveniently relevant occurs then the animation quality is poor to preserve the budget to bring in people like atsushi wakabayashi who are considered best in japan so dont just go accusing the animators of being lazy when you're not educated about how it works
