When I think on that subject, doesn't Sakura hit Sai too? Not only Naruto Probably just as if to say, she doesn't only hit Naruto. The only punch Naruto PROBABLY didn't deserve was after the fight vs. Pein. He was tired as hell o_o I understand he had her worried but Ouch! That's one hell of a welcome home present.

She probably hit him because it was reckless And she has it with hitting Naruto, that's just the relationship between them.. empowered by her temper (and possibly ADHD lol).

Who wouldn't do that in his situation? A girl that was part of your class, society and parallel team, whom you've pretty much known for your entire life jumps into battle in attempt to protect you.. knowingly being extremely inferior to her opponent.

And the opponent then nonchalantly stabs her and throws her away like a piece of cloth.

Regardless of romantic feelings, going berserk in a situation like that is completely human.

The reason he didn't transform past 1 tail at that point was simply because his inner strength wasn't capable of drawing on that much Kyuubi chakra iirc. Seeing as throughout the first part of the series he was only engulfed in its chakra to some extend and at times one tail. It wasn't till a couple of years later, when he had grown physicly, that the 3 and 4 tail transformations happened. And now, right after he'd just grown even more, the number of tails was even higher. Makes sense doesn't it.

Before they really knew each other, and I mean before they were on teams, Naruto was into Sakura even if it was her 'looks'. When they actually got onto teams, Naruto liked her smarts. I think it was after Sasuke left they both made a super close bond and it became secretly a little tiny something o.o If they aren't in love, Naruto and Hinata probably have a lesser version of that friendship than Naruto and Sakura

because of the outspring of feelings we saw when Pain attacked hinata, it`s clear that naruto care for her.

Who knows really. Even though Naruto is shounen manga I can't help but notice the romance considering I'm a girl. I'm not sure though. I really <3 the shy types like Hinata! And I like to pair her with Naruto because of that. To tell the truth I'm a real pervert and I think Naruto looks like the kind of type to grope vuluptuous girls like Hina-chan! And I think there hair colors look good together. I really hate the color pink ( NOT REFERING TO SAKURA) and yellow mixed together. Though Sakura's a cool girl I think Sasuke is the only one that can handle her death blows! So to sum up:
