Naruto and the Rinnegan

Hey! I was just thinking of Naruto and the fact that he is an Uzumaki and noticed that there is a possibility that he can awaken the Rinnegan- especially since the Uzumaki clan kept ties with the Sage and his descendants. Well, the Naruto series is now nearing its end and I believe Naruto and Sasuke are bound to awaken the Rinnegan to become the 5th and 6th of the Six Paths. Sasuke will probably awaken it normally (a near death situation like Madara against Naruto). Naruto could recieve them from Tobi, Sasuke, or even Nagato or the Bijuu if Tobi succeeds in reincarnating it and Naruto seals it within himself.

Sasuke- its a given that he WILL awaken them but what do you think of Naruto and his chances with the Rinnegan?

I suppose it will. And when I say 5th and 6th paths I mean the Rinnegan user. The Sage was the First Path, Madara was second, Nagato is third, and Tobi is fourth. Tobi adresses himself as the "Sage of Four Paths". Naruto and Sasuke will probably be the 5th and 6th. But it's just a theory...

as some one said it will not go with plot.

naruto's destiny is to become the savior of the world not gain rinnegan. He has more than enough power to do that.
And the message that kishi gives throughout the manga is that naruto doesn't need more techniques to win over a powerful enemy

Na Naruto wont get the Rinnegan, I cant even see the story going in that direction.....just like the SO6P sons....one has the body, and one has the eyes. This will be reflected upon Sasuke and Naruto when they battle....Naruto= Body Sasuke = Eyes

I don't recall seeing anywhere that Tobi called himself the sage of 4 paths. Also the Sage of 6 paths who created the nine tailed beasts has always been referred to as the sage of 6 paths. there is no sage of the 1 path sage of the 2 paths etc. just one sage of the 6 paths who gave birth to two great shinobi families the Senju and the Uchiha

Sasuke and Naruto are supposed to be representative of the elder and younger sons of the sage of sixth paths. That being said Kishi created many patterns throughout the manga that point to Naruto and Sasuke being polar opposites. It just doesn't make sense to give Naruto the Rinnegan becasue that was the elder brother's power and not the younger's. However, I do feel Naruto should learn some of the sealing techniques of the Uzumaki and Kishi should write about some of the Uzumaki clan history and such. Just a personal curiosity of mine.

But if ya don't I'll enlighten you:

What does SAGE mean? One who controls nature energy, spiritual energy Or or simply a An energy source multiplied with the users own chakra energy.
So SAGE OF 6 PATHS means that he is the master of all six paths.
Hen tobi fought konan he said he is the second path and that nagato is the third, why he meant when saying this is that THE UCHIHA ARE THE SECOND OF THE SIX PATHS and that THE UZUMAKI ARE THE THIRD.
So who's the first the? The first path must mean that the SENJU ARE.

So now many may ask who's the 4th5th and final path.. Well for what I believe is that the fourth path is that it's the matering of THE JYUUBI OR SIMPLY OLL TEN OR NINE TAILED BEASTS.
The fifth path must mean the power of every actual SAGE MODE ITSELF.


YET I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE AISXTH AND FINAL PATH OF THE SAGES SIX PAYHS ARE... ... ...



EDIT; Maybe he referred to nagato as the rinnegan not UZUMAKI because Uzumaki may fall under the SINJU'S

Sorry, as I stated it's just a theory. And he calls himself Second Six Paths (二人目の六道, Futarime no Rikudō). Sorry.

Agreed. And Kishi should certainly enlighten us on the main character's background...If only there was another Uzumaki alive besides for Karin to teach him sealing techniques...

This is an interesting thread. As for Naruto, he represents Senju (body of the Sage, strength of will, and physical energy.) I won't be surprised if he further develops his self healing abilities. He won't be getting any eye techniques or Dojutsu.

This is an interesting thread. As for Naruto, he represents Senju (body of the Sage, strength of will, and physical energy.) I won't be surprised if he further develops his self healing abilities. He won't be getting any eye techniques or Dojutsu.

His chances are next to nothing for developing it naturally. Naruto's upgrades are usually obtained through hard work and guts. Transplanting the Rinnegan will be a too "easy" upgrade and wont fir with what his character stands for.
