Now we all know that Naruto didnt win the fight, if he did sasuke wouldnt be where he is at right now. Most fanboys of sasuke say that Naruto lost fair and square, you really dont hear much of Naruto fanboys because they take it how it is. But the fight wasnt just a battle of power, it was also an emotional battle and people misinterpret that factor. It wasnt like Sasuke was dominating Naruto because he wasnt. The fight was an even battle, if not then sasuke wouldnt have put his headband on and acknowledge Naruto as his equal, fully awaken his sharingan, and transform to level 2 with the curse mark, Naruto pushed him to his limits. Naruto didnt have the killing intent like sasuke had so his resolve wasnt absolute and thats what gave sasuke the edge to defeat him. Also they both had other powers that influenced and increased there own.
Sasuke
-Curse Seal Mark
-Sharingan
-Chidori
-Fire ball Jutsu
Naruto
-Jinchuriki
-High chakra reserves
-Rasengan
-Shadow clone jutsu
Also the rasengan is stronger than the chidori if it wasnt then Sasuke would have been able to break through Naruto's rasengan when they clashed, also that was one of the reason Sasuke went to Orochimaru for more power because he saw the damage Naruto's rasengan did to the water tower which was greater then Sasuke's own chidori. In the end they are both strong.

I'm pretty sure Naruto held back at the very end of that fight.

And for some reason, I think he'll do it again in the upcoming one.

also....they would have been tied...or naruto could have been stronger, but naruto was exhausted from fighting kimimaro, some of the sound four and had his chakra drained by jirobo...so sasuke had the advantage...it wasnt a fair fight...

It wasn't a fair fight? Indeed.. Sasuke is fighting Naruto and the Kyubi who was constantly giving Naruto chakra. It was unfair for Sasuke U_U

1-tail vs. CS2 is to Sasuke's advantage.

And Sasuke magically awoke 3 tomoe in the middle of the fight.

They were both equal, that is why it came down to the final clash. Sasuke won though due to the him hitting Naruto first in the energy sphere. Chidori and rasengan have different modes of damage. Chidori focuses all of it's energy into one point, piercing the target. Rasengan causes grinding and then a rotating explosion. They are equal in a clash though, as seen when Naruto and Sasuke first clashed them at the bottom of the Valley of the End.

Here's a short way to put this thread. Naruto let Sasuke win, if you disagree, I feel bad for you son. Go read the manga or watch the episode.

i think naruto held back his power because of will to save sasuke back to konoha. but still it was a great fight between the two.

We read this manga from right to left. That means that the sequence of events happen from right to left. Sasuke slipped under Naruto's attack, probably due to his sharingan, and hit Naruto first. That messed up Naruto's attack.

Yeah he did, instead of going for the kill Naruto scratched Sasuke's headband to prove a point to Sasuke

Yes, the battle was an extremely emotional one, packed with tender moments and flashbacks, no arguments there. However, during their final clash, most people seem to forget that it wasn't only Naruto who relented - Sasuke did as well. They could've quite easily destroyed each other by striking one another with what was left of their techniques, but Naruto opted to scratch Sasuke's forhead, and Sasuke settled with punching Naruto in the gut. If his killing intent was as strong as soo many people suggest, he would've killed Naruto without reservation afterwards - but he didn't. Not just because he didn't want to obtain power in the same way as Itachi, but also because, even in his hardest of hearts, Sasuke ultimately couldn't bring himself to kill his 'best friend' - though that is clearly not the case as of their latest encounter.

In either case, those who side with Naruto don't have anything they can say about the outcome. Regardless of the methods, emotions, and techniques involved, in the shinobi world, a win is a win. End of discussion. Naruto's loss to Sasuke is just that, a loss.

There's nothing to dispute.

If naruto wanted to win he should have just summoned gama bunta. In part one sasuke couldn't have done much against him, part two is obviously a very different story
