Funny, because madara actually worked for most of his powerups. MS? killed his own friend. EMS? his bro gave it to him. This can be counted as being handed on a plate. RInnegan? He fought hashi and got his senju cells. Godly like taijutsu? yeah that was hard work too.

Naruto only worked for SM and Rasengan variants. Rikudo sage mode was given to him. Other tailed beasts chakra were given to him, him beating kurama to get KCM was a plot hole, since he shouldn't be able to defeat kurama. lol :|

The only power ups Madara worked for was MS when he fought Hashirama he faked his death to steal Hashi's cells. Sasuke fought Itachi to the end to get his MS which then got him his EMS after taking on the 5 kage.

Everything in the war arc was given to Madara by Kabuto (dat Hashi face)

@B worst argument ever, Kurama was impressed (although Kushina helped him), before he got the TB chakra he had to individually save them from Obito.

BSM Naruto and EMS Sasuke are already stronger than any non JJ ninja

Kurama could have neg diff the entire place with multiple fast TBBs, which by the way killer bee (who was helping) wouldn't have saved naruto from. If you seriously think SM naruto can take on kurama then i'm done.​

Even without those , Naruto and Sasuke's growth was seriously fast. Sage's boost just put that into hyperdrive for a brief moment.

i can agree with rock lee strongest character in naruto without powerups but naruto and sasuke probarly would be stronger than him even without rikudo powerups but that only what i think i can always be wrong but look at kisame could at least take guy on when he was at his seventh gate
