Naruto and Sasuke vs Otsutsuki Leader

Just another theory on what’s going down in Boruto, but at this point I think it’s a given we’ll see more of the Otsutuski and eventually we’ll see their leader. A given trope in a lot of media is the mentor or father figure who dies to pave the way for the protagonist to become the hero, we saw this with jiraiya in shippuden and I expect we’ll see something similar in boruto too.

If a confrontation with the otsutsuki leader is inevitable, do you think it’ll be a fight for Naruto and Sasuke? And if so, how would it go down? Would we see naruto call on the rest of the tailed brass for a full six paths sage mode again like we saw in VOTE2? Would he lend that chakra to Sasuke as well to put them both in high god tier for the fight? Would they even win, or would this be their send off to make room for boruto to truly take the stage like how Jiraiya lost to Pain?

This is how I imagine things going down;


-Naruto and Sasuke travel together to the otsutsuki home world after sasuke discovers it

-They give it absolutely everything they have to defeat him and either lose to him or reinforcements after they win

-Sasuke creates a portal and sends Naruto home, spending his last act to save the one person who saved him

-Naruto is in a weakened state but gets home and effectively saves the bijuu from being taken

-Kawaki takes this chance to kill/defeat Naruto. “I’ll send you to the same place as the seventh” tbh I could see this being a hell of a fight, even if naruto ends up in a weakened state and it’d explain why the leaf was in ruins

-hear me out on this one, but boruto ends up saving the world with the help of the bijuu. I mean, if naruto is killed by the otsutsuki wouldn’t they want revenge? Naruto was the first human to befriend them all and he freed them all too (besides the eight and nine tails, but they chose to stay where they were and imo this further cements the idea that they’d be attached enough to naruto to be angry enough to want to avenge him) wouldn’t they see boruto as their best chance for justice?

Anyway, this is one way I’d imagine things going down. What do you guys think?

It's hard to say anything if Naruto gets sage paths back he will be pathetically strong only with Kurama mode he is a beast as an adult with Paths he'll be invincible so the fight will go into Naruto and Sasuke's hand if the leader is not stronger than Kaguya.

I imagine it’s very possible the leader would be stronger than Kaguya. She may have found an exceptionally powerful chakra fruit but it’s hard to imagine there would only be one fruit of that caliber in all existence
