So which tag team would win and why?
-The location is the destroyed leaf village
-Naruto and Kurama are friends
-Nagato and Itachi are not reincarnated
-Sasuke has EMS
-Shisui's eye is inactive
-100% killing intent
My thoughts:
Although the sound of Nagato and Itachi on one team sounds ridiculously overpowered, recently Naruto has been shown to be the best overall ninja, he can sense and replenish chakra, he can use either the kyuubi tails or cloak to block pretty much any attack e.g. The Juubi's storm attack or Obito's spiralling flames. Basically, Naruto and Sasuke have the best defence but lets not ignore the enormity that is their opposition. Itachi is an amazing tactician and Nagato's are extremely difficult to counter and good easily overwhelm an unfocused Sasuke who can no longer match the raw speed that Naruto can.
Itachi's genjutsu may be strong enough to stop the bond between Naruto and Kurama and those vital few seconds could be used to counter using the 6 paths. The pressure continues with Nagato's huge summoning offence leaving Sasuke to have to deal with huge enemies require a large amount of eye power in the form of those notorious black flames.
At this point Itachi may begin to tire, his stamina is quite low and he may have to resort to susano'o to cover all areas from attack, a strategy they could implement could be the giant bird summoning that flies Itachi away to safety as Nagato prepares a chikabu tensei however this will not be sufficient enough to defeat the fated duo, they each possess very strong long range techniques that could shatter the gravity rock...
All in all I feel that Naruto and Sasuke would come out on top, what are your thoughts?
