the reason why EMS is better than rinnegan is because EMS (or ms jutsu) is efficent and deadly like
amaterasu ( instant ko ,it kill edo nagato and his summon but he revive himself with edo tensi .i wonder waht will happen if itachi use that on the real nagato?)
madara teleportation justu ( can be use defensively by dodging attacks or going far distance or pop up close to opponent ) and offensive (it can suck an opponent to another dimension or trap the person somewhere ),
shusi ultimate genjutsu ( i bet i can stop all pein alone )and
susano (itachi got the best defense and offense and u saw his susano seal edo nagato easily)
why nagato have alot of skill and they got there weakness.itachi show that in the battle

Itachi and Sasuke were about even in Susano'o. Sasuke can use the arrows, Itachi can use Yasaka's Magatama. Sasuke can use Enton with Amaterasu. Itachi beat Sasuke in Tsukiyomi.

Now that Sasuke has an unnamed jutsu from the EMS, I'm sure he's on top.
