Naruto and Sasuke OP!! What happened to hand-to-hand combat?

They´ve come to such a level and are facing such strong opponents that taijutsu would mean suicide if they tried.
Taijutsu ain´t gonna cut it anymore, you need to realize that.

Yes good point...No one will dare to risk melee combat because one mistake will lead to death.

I understand and agreed.. But two 16 yr olds who went from genins to gods in less than 3 years is overwhelming.. And in Dragon Ball to Dragonball Z there was like a 20+ year time skip in order for Goku to become "godlike"

In Terms Of The Short Amount Of Time It Took Them To Gain Such Power, You're Correct - It Does Seem A Bit Too Fast; But Once You Look At Who They Trained Under, It's Not All That Surprising.

Naruto:
Trained Under One Of The Sannin [Jiraiya], The Toad Elders [Fukasaku & Shima], And The 'Perfect' Jinchuuriki [Killer Bee]. In Addition, He Has The Assistance Of Shadow Clones To Cut Years Of Training Into Mere Days, Or Even A Few Hours & A Massive Amount Of Stamina And Chakra, Courtesy Of The Nine-Tails.

Sasuke:
Also Trained Intensively Under One Of The Sannin [Jiraiya]. He Was A True Genius From The Very Beginning, And Thus Grasped Concepts Easily And Quickly, Unlike Our Orange-Tracksuited Friend I Mentioned Previously. (While It's Just A Theory, I Think That's A Possible Reason Behind Why Naruto Has More Screen Time Than Sasuke In Terms Of Training; It's Boring To Create Episodes Of A Character Training Who Learns Near-Instantaneously (i.e. Sasuke) - Hence, More Episodes Are Devoted To Naruto, Who Has A Push Himself To Gain New Power.

So Yeah, It's A Short Amount Of Time To Get Strong, But It's Not Like They Were Both Just Lazing Around The Last 3 Years, Lol.

If you think about it... Sasuke was an Uchiha(genius)...he was trained by the best men and he had alot of fights in which he could improve( Not to mention that Orochimaru was making him to fight hundreds of fodder characters just to improve his abilities).He had the cursed seal which allowed him acces to even greater chakra quantities. Unlike other shinobis he was trained by Orochimaru for 3 years day after day. He didn't manage to awaken the MS on his own...only with the help of his brother he managed to get such powerful eye techniques.Now he ended up with Itachi's brothers which make him even more stronger.
And about Naruto...He also was trained by one of the legendary sannins for 3 years. Even tough he wasn't as much of a genius as Sasuke he managed to get stronger trough hardwork, use of the kage bunshin, and enormous amounts of chakra coming from him being an uzumaki and from 9tails aswell(If you think back...Naruto summoned that Boss Frog for the first time with the help of 9tails chakra, he could use regular Rasengan only with the help of a clone, Odama rasengan with the help of two, Sage mode, futon rasen shurinken, wind chakra control all with the help of clones). As far as it goes for his fighting experience: clones are the answer as well.
Yes I miss some taijutsu action aswell...at least good quality one.I'd preffer to see some taijutsu from time to time rather than RASENGAN THAT RASENGAN THIS. MANGEKYO SHARINGAN!!! etc.

I do miss the old days however Naruto was always a spammer. Sasuke never spammed MS to me, he always used it strategically. At least MS has different techniques. Chidori also has variations, plus he used summoning, and weapons unlike Naruto

the exact samething happened with dragonball z it went from hand to hand fighting to power struggles EVERY FIGHT lol wen u get extremly powerful there is no need for you to use your hands and feet lol
