Okay now this is a theory/ prediction that i have for chapter 663. I know its a lot of text but if you take the time to read it you might like it.
Everyone remembers Kakashi's encounter with his father during the Pain arch right?
So in case you didnt know, Kakashi died from chakra exhaustion and met his father in a world between worlds. His father had some "unfinished business" to talk to kakashi about before his spirit could move on. in other words the dead were just talking.
Theory:
-Now i think that Naruto and Sasuke (being that both are near death) can have a chance to talk to someone who might have had more to say before their death. For organization purposes, i'll split it into two sections.
Naruto:
-I feel that Jiraiya is the perfect person for Naruto to talk to at this point. Jiraiya is someone who has been with naruto through his whole nine tails experience and it seems fitting that he is here to sort of guide naruto now that he has lost Kurama. The specifics are up to Kishimoto but it would be an interesting conversation.
Sasuke:
-Sasuke's is a two part theory. The first people that come to mind for him to talk to are his parents. Sasuke never got the closure he needs from these two and it would be good for his final character development. (Some may say "why not itachi" but i think itachi has talked with sasuke enough) His parents could tell him the same thing they told itachi. That they are proud of sasuke despite the path he has chosen. I think this is good because sasuke believes that no one understands him but his parents are the closest to understanding him. (besides naruto possibly)
- this is the second part of sasuke's convo.(either in place of talking to his parents or as a short convo before he returns to the real world) He could possibly talk to Madara's younger brother, Izuna. This could be key to explaining how Madara strayed from the close ideals he and Hashirama had as well as give sasuke insight on his weaknesses. At least give sasuke some advice but again this is just a possible side convo.
Final verdict:
- after naruto and sasuke have had their convos they can return to the real world to face madara.
