Naruto and Sasuke destroyed

First of all Kishi destroyed Sasuke who was that cool guy who had deep feelings for his family which he kept sort of hidden and made him do everything he did by making him a complete ******* with no aparent reason and then there is Naruto who next to Sasuke is my favorite character and he is so because during the series he was an idiot who had the power to go through anything for his friend...but mostly because he was an idiot and he was funny somehow but now in the "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage" you would expect a wiser Naruto, yet we get a Naruto who just got taller and forgot how to fight with no change in his character...I even think that he is dumber now than he was in Shippuden.

I feel sad thinking that kishi decided to trash these two characters like this...they deserve more than this...but I guess that I have to accept the fact that kishi is just a money leech and he doesn't care abput his readers

again how so? Is just because they are no longer kids and think and act as adults would rather than running head first into trouble, yelling vulgar things, and smashing the competition?

Or because Shin managed to score some hits on them? Were you expecting them to be gods among men and could never be touched?

Give some examples where you feel the old Naruto/Sasuke are far better in demeanor and power than the current ones.
