kaguya has defenses from the ten-tails and presumably the tree chakra.
naruto and especially sasuke are still squishy. if sasuke gets any lava on him, he dies. if he loses an arm or a leg, it's gone (til naruto heals it.) if he's stabbed in the heart, he should technically die but i guess he lived last time.
same thing with naruto. naruto needs to breath, he needs to have his organs and stuff all working right.
this is unlike in dragon ball z where both fighters and enemies became more resistant to physical attacks as the show went on. goku could take a ton of punches and break off blades and stuff because it was established that he was resistant to that kind of thing
the above is very important because it meant it was possible to write a super powerful villain that couldn't simply 1-shot the main cast, because they were good at surviving.
however since naruto and sasuke are still 100% human underneath all their flashy attacks, kaguya should be able to remove the air from their lungs, or crush their heads or remove their frontal lobes or warp them into lava or remove the liquid from their bodies. she's got pretty much all the chakra.
this makes the fight hard to write because as soon as she overpowers naruto or sasuke, they instantly lose. there's no room for them to simply get beaten up and come back again, if they get hit they die, so they can't get hit. there's no tension in the writing as a result. kishi messed up
