War = TOBI.
Once the "war" is over, the story will NOT be over. Lord Orochimaru will be the main villian. Naruto/Sasuke will have plenty of time to develop more. I believe that that all (Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke) will become perfect Sages eventually. I dont think this is the end of Naruto (War).

correction: sasugay is not prepared for the fight. naruto would ****** his ***** and then ****** his *** then cut off his dik, then kill him, then bring him back to live by ***** his ***** then brainwash him by ***** in his mouth, then they go back to konoha and get married and sasugay would be the bitch in the relationship for the rest of their lives. the end

If you think about it, Naruto and Sasuke are no where near their peak potentials, but they have the ability to advance faster than other ninja's thats why they'll fight soon.
Sasuke has made great strides in his stamina and chakra manipulation, there are few ninja who can sustain the chakra output and high level of skill required to form susanoo. However, just recently sasuke learned that there is another sharingan tech and he still doesnt know how to use the one he learned of before.
Naruto has just made his bond with Kurama and has at least attained the speed of his father the 4th; and he has just gotten to the point of being able to manipulate his chakra arms. However, he still hasnt mastered his sage tech to the point where he can gather natural energy ALONE while moving, and he Kurama dont have the bond that B and Gyuki share.
Basically Naruto and Sasuke are too young! They've got no where near the amount of knowledge the older comparable ninja have (kakashi, itachi, killer b, jiraya). They simply havent lived long enough. The same can be said for all of the konoha 11 ninja.
The only advantage and reason i could see them making any more huge advances in a short time without another timeskip is that they are decendents of the SO6P. sasuke's eyes now have the potential to see every detail - although he is nowhere near as proficient as itachi was, again age. He managed to push the growth of his eye techs so fast that his eyes gave out so he had to seek out the mangekyo to continue his progress. He has worked under orochimaru, kakashi, itachi, tobi and has some of their strongest techs in his arsenal in a short amount of time.
Naruto's body is incredible. The chakra amount required for techs and exhaustion from shadow clones go back to the user when they're dispelled. If naruto summons 100 shadow clones and 95 get dispelled, thats 95 attempts, attacks and knockdowns experienced by naruto at once. The only reason that he is able to survive is his body. the upside to the beating he takes is he retains the details of each clone's experiences. He is incredibly creative and unconventional. If you think about it, he has to process the information of many minds at once. If ten clones get killed at the same time, that's ten clones' thoughts hitting at once, and ten new perspectives on an opening that he has to think about.
Naruto doesnt have to have Sasuke's ability to observe thousands of details with one look, he can experience one detail each time, thousands of times over because his body is so strong. Sasuke doesnt have to have Naruto's ability to perform and experience a technique thousands of times, he can practice it few times and master it through observation. They're both more gifted in that than any other ninja their age and that's why they're so strong and might fight soon lol
