Sojobo Tengu??
On second thoughts about it being Kabuto, it probably isn't him but I guess we all just feel like it should be him since Orochimaru and Konoha left him, Anko, and Yamato to rot while being subject to multiple tests and abductions. I made a thread thinking that the mystery man was probably Kabuto or related to him but it was only based on Orochimaru's reactions to Karin sensing the chakra so it's probably incorrect. We've seen how Hashirama sees him as similar to Izuna who I quote said "Don't believe them (Hashirama, Tobirama, & the Senju clan) they are liars." So maybe he will truly sympathize with that. The mystery man is most likely very knowledgeable but not very powerful otherwise he would have done something about this all so I scratch out the elder son of the sage.
I think it's a little deeper than that but I supposed one could argue it from a different point of view. Also, didn't Sasuke seem to be understanding when Naruto told him about the Bijuus? Correct me if I'm wrong but Sasuke didn't seem to be set on burning them down after Naruto said he would save him and that he would attempt to extract the Bijuus from Obito. It's plausible one could argue the elder son is the opposite the sage since their ideologies clashed.
But also, I think the difference in what naruto and sasuke want to do with the tailed beasts (set free/burn them down) is enough of an issue to cause a severe conflict already.
Ahh I see. Right, well I guess it's possible he was hiding in plain site, but I don't think it is a face we will recognize. If you read my thread on "the true villain" I guess it could be argued he was hiding in plain site through statues and monuments dedicated to him.
Hmmm...Well I'm not sure Orochimaru gave much of an indication that he had any idea of who the person could be; he merely expressed unease after Karin herself expressed her own doubts about the person's intentions. Could you explain what you meant? Or better yet, post the link to the thread. I'll go over it to try to understand the point you were trying to make.
Btw, isn't it about time for the fruit to emerge? it's probably a thousand years already since Kaguya and Hagoromo's era.
Sojobo Tengu??
Can you link me to it? I'd like to check it out, you're one of few who's theories I actually enjoy reading around here. I don't think it'll be a face we recognize either but I remember reading a theory that there was someone that helped Madara survive in his VOTE battle against Hashirama. Perhaps the mystery man that help save Madara will do the same for Sasuke in order to get him on his side? Definitely a possibility.
I know! The suspense to that is killing me. If the tree really is about to bore the fruit again, I wonder why Madara or Obito have made no mention. Surely they would be able to estimate that the time is approaching.
Haha exactly! Now whether Kishimoto decides to go with that name and the God's likeness (long nose, wings, bird-like features, etc.) I don't know, he may choose to go another path. But the character I have explained in my other thread about Sojobo, in terms of his place in the story, I have no doubt actually exists and will come to be cannon material. Or at least something similar.
Here is a link to that thread.

I hope it's Jashin, but it's probably that ancient God you mentioned in a previous thread.
Myst. man is kabuto, there are no holes there to fill. Karin not recog. him,and calling it evil, implies dsm only. Better you accept it.
It's kabuto gosh
Oh I am glad you posted.
Okay, I'll start with this...
How did he break out of Izanami?

Lol, I think one could make the argument that they are one in the same. As Madara said, "history becomes distorted." I wonder if all the God's shown in Naruto, including Jashin, are all not some form of worship to the God Tree and the Fruit itself, merely changed over time.
