It's a possibility. Kishi isn't the romantic type so we'd probably see a time-skip with one the the heroines or something. Romantic moments during what feels like, the climax of the series would be kind of tacky.

Gai is risking his life when suddenly a panel of NaruSaku or NaruHina happens. It would kill the mood and feel out of place.

This is the time where all the feelings come out. Kishi put Sakura next to Naruto for a reason and Sakura is the main character for the romantic subplot.

Sakura tried to protect Naruto several times.

I think Sakura would be a better fit for Naruto's character overall. She's shown she's cared for him since day one, even after saying that she hated him that same day. I can't really hold anything against part one Sakura's early attitude since she barely knew them and didn't know any better. I also can provide manga scans, but I'll just quote someone to save time.



There are tons and tons more showing she cares for him. I also think Sakura could provide any love Naruto needs. She also gets on Naruto when he acts up, something Hinata has yet to do.

These are just my preferences just like how you have yours. Now may I ask why you prefer NaruHina?

She did punch him like Sakura when she get mad.And beside Naruto inherited the Uzumaki and I think Hinata as member of the Hyuga clan. Their child would inherited the Byakugan and strong lifeforce and large chakra pool.

Dan and Tsunade was minor, more minor than what NaruHina, NaruSaku came to be. Kishi wasn't exactly hinting DanNade for 600+ chapters. If anything, it resolved some lingering issues Tsunade still had.

Plus, it was a sense of relief across the battlefield when dan went to tsunade. Then Madara killed the mood by edo tensei himself.

Unfortunately unless people can be open minded enough to see the reality and not what they desire to see, all pairings are canon in their heads until Kishimoto draws the reality.
