we all know naruto as the anime of dreams and guts. but as for the people of the anime/manga how does kishimoto come up with such rich deep people. some are of accounts of his actual life. (college buddys) (high school buddys)
(his own family).
But some are based on stars or legands in japan, china, and even the u.s.
rock lee for example is a version of bruce lee. going down to even the back issues that bruce lee sufferd with before creating jeet kune do. as well as some jackie chan. (drunken fist style)
it may be a hunch. but i belive guy might is based off of jackie chan. based on his style. mixed with his humor being one of the most comical yet important to naruto as kakashi is.
and of course killer bee. going down to the quick and tumble sword style to the speed of movements and quick raps all down to his trash talking screams muhammed ali. even going as far to say swift like a butterfly sting like a (killer) bee.
jiraiya is based on japanese folklore in old ninja stories Jiraiya Gōketsu Monogatari. even in the story he shape shifts into a toad. as shown kishimoto keeps to the ninja history quite well. and sarutobi or other words the third hokage is based off of sasuke sarutobi, who appears in kōdan narrative art and fictional writings. is another based off of japanese folklore. which is funny because in naruto sarutobis father is named sasuke, this information of sarutobi is thanks to projectouterspace. these people and folklore make the naruto universe full of rich comical and beautiful story.
