Naruto and One Piece

Well first of all I have USED to be a Naruto fan. But since the loads of fillers and enemies that are coming back everytime it isn't that enjoyable anymore. My friends suggested me to watch One Piece, ofcourse I told them that it is probably nothing compared to Naruto.. But now at episode 521 right after the timeskip I came to the conclusion that One Piece owns Naruto Shippuden on every front! Man i'mma tell you if a anime could possibly make me cry something that is 'fiction' then it is a damn good freaking anime.. The 4 tears I dropped for Ace are for real!

So tell me your opinion what do you think is beter One Piece or Naruto?

Naruto, but One Piece is an unreal series.

To be honest, they both have their flaws. One piece follows a simple and repetitive arc structure (strawhats reach an island, strawhats locate enemy, strawhats systematically defeat enemies from weakest to strongest, luffy beats big bad-guy. They leave. The end).

Also most of the enemies are somewhat lackluster (I'm going to suck up your shadows, I want to be a god...) and Oda has a habit of dragging arcs out longer than he should. Both are phenomenal series with their own issues, I just prefer One Piece more.

Also most of the enemies are somewhat lackluster (I'm going to suck up your shadows, I want to be a god...) and Oda has a habit of dragging arcs out longer than he should. Both are phenomenal series with their own issues, I just prefer One Piece more.

One piece is the best ,actually i saw that fat woman in the start nd lost interest arount 10ep i left watching One piece but same like u my friend said "You must b really Dumb to say that" he said real fun starts after Logue town arc,nd i noticed he said that with sparkling eyes (LOL) i thaught that it must be good so i resumed it nd it went straight in my top 3 spots ,nd i liked even more after the timeskip ,on the contrary naruto isnt in my top 3 list =D

i prefer naruto more than one piece but i do love one piece. but ive been reading naruto longer and i feel i know the world of naruto much better than one piece and also you seem to only watch anime when naruto should be read not watched in my opinion and hopefully they may re-release naruto with no fillers one can only hope

Well if your gonna label it like that then yeah it is repetitive but its all the storys and plot twists that happen on the island which make it interesting and id take the lackluster villains over guys who are going to change their ways in the end anyday lol but agreed both are phenomenal series

I like Naruto's overall story better, mostly because its hard to see a definite ending to one piece. But to me one piece has all of those mini stories within the main story that make it amazing! I like both but until one piece gets more to the end, I like Naruto better.

But Shippuden in beginning was the best manga in the manga history IMO also....

NAruto and one piece are my favorite anime/manga.

Shanks is my favorite character in all of anime/manga, followed by itachi.

however i like naruto more. i like to be scared, i can see the heroes are in danger, One piece i don't think i have ever been afraid for luffy or the straw hats. i mean Luffy is pretty much immortal and so is zoro and the rest.

since the arcs are repetive with the same plot, you know. Luffy is going to gain one more form for the gum gum power, zoro a new sword slash, sanji some knew leg kick.. etc.

however i love one piece don't get me wrong, I watched One piece z and really like the development in chracters.

One piece females are so insanely developed and that is what i like. its much better than naruto where there is only a few females who don't just sit there and cry. (kushina, Hinata, Mei, and tsunade are all good characters) but even they don't have much relavance to the plot. that is why i like one piece. Nami and Robin ahve alot of development and without them the story would've ended so many times my head spins.

I guess i like well developed females who are involved in the plot, naruto doesn't provide that. I mean one can argue for hinata saying she has saved Naruto several times, cheered him up, supported him and even helped save the world. however even with that it is still not enough to give her 1/1,000 of nami's rep.

i also like One piece for Luffy's heart, i like "the invinsible hero" sceme a guy who almost never loses and always wins because good trumps evil.

One piece is definitely my favorite. It's been pointed out that op has the same repetitive style. That may be true, but it's the story within that makes it amazing. Oda is better at giving his characters more depth, you could say. Kishi's main female is constantly being called useless. So no arguments should be made about that. If the k11 would have been more utilized, then I probably would have a different opinion.

I like Naruto more than One Piece, but Naruto isn't one of my favorite animes either I actually liked Part 1 more, cause it was funnier and had more realistic and ninja-like fights. Now all anyone talks about is that Itachi/Tobi/Madara/Hashirama stuff D: I'm up to date in the Shippuden anime, but I still like Part 1 a lot more. The only reason I'm reading One Piece is cause of peer pressure. I'm on chapter 171, there's nothing that interesting yet :|
