Reffering back to her confession to Naruto, I don't believe that was her true feelings because when she claimed to love someone she immediately though of Sasuke, you can look deep into it but no matter i believe that it showed her love for Sasuke is still strong.
If you compare her confession to Sasuke to her confession to Naruto, yu can clearly see which one came more from the heart. That girl truly loved Sasuke...I still think she should die alone though.

If Sakura had known it was Naruto who was speaking and not Sasuke during the conversation things might have turned out different. Naruto looked past Sakura's flaws, just like Minato looked past Kushina's.

Sakura is very much like Kushina in a lot of ways...and there is a lot to go on here, so I really believe NaruSaku has a real shot.

Especially considering how Naruto reacted to her confession. Thats the only time in the entire series he was upset at Sakura. And considering Kakashi and Yamato's reaction, there is a lot of implication she was not being entirely honest.
I always assumed that when Kishi said she was being honest with herself he meant that Sakura had accepted that Sasuke had to die. She came off to me as trying to manipulate Naruto's feelings so that he would stop loving her (especially sense she said that if Naruto hated her to come out and say it.)
Captain Yamato actually seemed angry when he tried to jump in and Kakashi came off to me as dissapointed.

Hinata is depressed seeing that the only one she wants to protect even with her life is the one ending to protect her again and she is ashame of herself but tries to hide it, but again, only Naruto is able to understand her feelings just by looking into her eyes

2. Naruto rarely communicates with hinata..
3. There is ALOT more development with Naruto and Sakura than Hinata

Sakura should die alone, she still loves Sasuke even after he tried to kill her.
Hinata loved Naruto from the very beginning. She was the only one to respect him when NOBODY else did.
In the beginning, Sakura told "Sasuke" (Naruto transformed) that Naruto was annoying.
Then later with the real Sasuke, Sakura said the same "Naruto was annoying";
that make Sasuke mad (because he had just lost his family).
Later Sasuke keep using the word at Sakura as being "annoying".
This made her speechless, thinking that she should not use that word anymore.
Naruto is still VIRGIN.
Upon return to Leaf Village, when Sakura asked what do Naruto think of her.

During the War, Naruto can sense, that was why Naruto sense what Hinata was saying.
But he may think differently, as usual he was "stupid" said the birds.
Currently during the War, Naruto mind have only one objective.
It would be hard to say which will be suitable for Naruto.
