Anyone else notice? You pick Hinata as main character in online battle then Naruto and it says "Secret Lovers." Sorry, Sakura, guess you didn't get the best ninja afterall. Good luck with Sasuke.

All the developers got in relation to the original series were rights permission from the developers. They could put in whatever the hell they want in their games and all they would get in return is "Sweet! Money!"

In short, while they don't "put in whatever the hell they want" and instead bake fan cookies, you shouldn't take what's created in a video game as canon to manga lore; you're gonna have a bad time.

Lol you can choose Naruto as the main too. It's just putting them together.

Anyways I think they've done that since Storm 2...cause I know Generations has it.

Bear in mind,we're talking about the same game where Sakura dodges a Chidori during a certain cutscene...

I'd take anything considered a 'confirmation' from Storm 3 with a large grain of salt.
