They made a correct point, though i want you to remember, If Hashirama hadn't said what he hadn't said, what Naruto did would've been irrelevent. Why? Because they would've gave in already, while Naruto was crying.

This chapter Naruto was more awesome. He just surpassed Hashirama in a way..Hashirama couldn't relate to them with just words, but Naruto spoke to them without using words, but his feelings.
