Naruto and Goku both walk a path of Change??

From the beginning there have been many observations about the Naruto manga being similar to the DragonballZ manga. Well, one of the BIG similarities is that Naruto and Goku are alot alike. They both have tremendous natural abilities and power. They both will lay down their life to protect their family and friends. They have both been trained by legendary beings. They both make friends of enemies. And they both eventually are acknowleged by their peers and enemies for their strength and character (how they win people over and change people's perspective). What are your thoughts as the War Arc progresses and even the resurrected shinobi acknowlege Naruto?

I would like to see how Goku and Bardock's conversation would go like.
Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit for 360 and PS3 has a What-If Story with something like this, and it's done really well. Where Bardock acknowledges his son after he turned SSJ against him. Goku never realized Bardock was his father on there, only Bardock himself knew it.
