Fma is just perfectly done. It has humour,sadness to the max,epic fights,no powerups,badass characters,unique plot story,brilliant final villain and what not? I would suggest you to watch Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood 64 episodes anime in english dub,as this is one anime where eng dub>>>subs. Dubs should be of funimation though,others are shit. Brotherhood is the true manga anime,unlike fma-2003 as it became filler after 25 episodes. And mind the fact that characters die in this in a remarkable way which always leaves you with a sense of sadness.

Now,the breaker and it's sequel the breaker new waves. It's a martial arts manhwa(korean manga) with some totally unique story,concepts,and martial arts style. The art is so good from the get go,that you feel the panels and fights going on in your mind. Story is just fabulous,irony,sadness is damn good,and manga feels totally realistic.

There are numerous Mangas/Animes that are far better than Naruto story wise.

AOT IS way better, without a freaking doubt.
I've also heard that FMA is really good, never watched it.
Death Note is also fantastic.
I've Heard that Code Geass is good but i never watched it.

Although i did say naruto is one of the best, that doesnt mean people shouldnt branch out. There are so many random mangas out there that have no popularity but are just awesome. I recommend people try new mangas besides naruto/one piece/bleach, even if those 3 are really good as it is.

No, no, no, no, no and no. If by great manga you mean useless flashbacks, and characters who are in serious need of therapy then yes.

My personal favorite will always be DBZ, and Dragonball. Because I'm not interested in overly emotional nonsense. If I wanted a deep novel I would read one. Also a villain should have a stronger motive than wanting to become a totalitarian ruler simply because he was a failure at everything he did in his life.

And a few more, but yes Naruto is a good manga and I like it better than some of the above

Every time someone writes that comparison I laugh at it, Naruto is one of the best selling manga of ALL time not just atm, do you know who the best selling music artists of ALL time are? It's the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Pink Floyd ... Ie some of the greatest music artists to ever live, Justin Biever doesn't come even close to any of them if you want a manga equivalent of jB I would say it's SAO
