Obviously if they are cousins they have the same blood. There is a purpose for stating in the manga that the Sages' Son's blood "thinned out". That means they started their own families. Branches of these families are close blood ties. Uzamaki (forgive spelling) is a "branch" of Senju, a distant relative by blood that has kept very close ties with the main branch family, Senju. A Uzamaki is a Senju, but a Senju isnt necessarily an Uzamaki, if that makes any sense.

Further, the Senju / Uzamaki kept CLOSE family ties, probably because the Uzamaki "branch" of the Senju family possessed an INCREDIBLY LARGE CHAKRA RESERVE passed down by BLOOD from the Senju. Their close ties and trust for one another led the Senju to take wives of the Uzamaki, one because of the trust factor (kept close ties, relatives) and other for the chakra reserves are large enough to make the 9 Tails a Jinchurriki. This allows the Kage (strongest title in the village) to have protection of a tailed beast... simular to the way "B" complements "A" the Raikage.

Yes. I also believe that he is a Senju. What Tobi is implying to Naruto is that it is their fate (NAruto and Sasuke) to fight like Madara and Hashirama. Because of the curse hatred, there will be a never ending battle between senju and uchiha but Naruto will change that on the end.

They were only distant blood relative's so technically they are related but it would be relatively watered down senju blood I say about 40-45% uzumaki 5-10% senju and the other 50% goe's to the namikazi bloodline.

I don't know how you interpreted it but it's very clear that Tobi is talking about senju and uchiha and how they are fated to fight each other. A senju is a senju and an Uzumaki is an Uzumaki. They are two different clans.

Technically Naruto is Senju and him and Sasuke are related. Its all genetics. The sage has 2 sons. The older son gets the eyes and produces over generations creating the Uchiha clan sooner or later. With all of the genes coming in and out, we can say they are like 1-5% related by blood to the sage.

The younger son produces over generations with the same result as the elder son. Creating the Senju. BUT somewhere along the line, one descendant could have left and started another clan producing over generations. The Uzumaki. The Senju and Uzumaki are distant relatives but maybe 1-5% blood themselves. Even though its been years the Uchiha, Senju, and Uzumaki have some genes they all share. They are probably 1-2% related by blood.
