Reading this latest chapter I think I have a very good idea of what's going to happen next.
1) Sasuke goes for the kill
2) Naruto jumps on Sasuke kind of hugging him and taking the chidori right in
3) Naruto starts crying because things turned out this way
4) While making a rasengan with the last bit of chakra he have, Naruto apologies to both Sasuke and Itachi because he couldn't keep his promise of stopping Sasuke without killing him
5) Sasuke remembers Itachi at that moment and starts thinking back in time and crying as well
6) with a pained face and teary eyes Naruto apologies for the last time and hits Sasuke on the back with the rasengan
7) they both fall motionless
8) Sakura arrives to the scene and saves both of them
