Here's one thing i know for sure:

If even half of Derps previous theories had come to pass in the manga (i.e. Uzumaki and SO6P Origins, more or less EVERYTHING he had theorized) the manga would have been MUCH BETTER than how it has become now.

however, as the current state of things remain, the anime has become but a fable of romeo and juliet (as one such love as this shall perish surely in vain in the hopes of the renewal of this feined bromance.
