Fun little prediction. Here goes.

Chapter 691: He's no longer here

Hagoromo: Now, all that's left to do is cast the infinite tsukuyomi. Sasuke, Naruto. I need both of your powers to deactivate it.

Naruto: How?

Hagoromo: First, you'll have to share the tailed beasts' chakra with Sasuke

Naruto: The way I shared Kurama's chakra with the alliance huh...

(Naruto gives Sasuke a chakra shroud, the same way he gave the ninja alliance the Kyuubi shroud)

Hagoromo: Now that you have the chakra of the tailed beasts and the rinnegan, you can deactivate the infinite tsukuyomi. Just look at the moon with your left eye.

(Sasuke looks at the moon. His rinnegan is reflected on it. All the cocoons begin to unravel, and the Shinju's roots begin to disappear. Everyone is now free from the infinite tsukuyomi. Sasuke's chakra shroud disappears.)

Hagoromo: My job is done. Goodbye. (disappears, along with the Kage ghosts)

(Scene switches to Madara)

Madara: I've spent 80 years on the moon's eye plan... on a lie... was I really being used the whole time? Looks like you and I weren't so different after all, Obito.

Hashirama: Madara...

Madara: It looks like I failed. I can't even move right now. You win. There's nothing I can do to stop you from killing me.

Hashirama: I won't.

Madara: Why?

Hashirama: Isn't it obvious? We're friends.

Madara: Friends, huh... (flashbacks to Black Zetsu betraying him) I was being used this whole time. I've committed countless crimes based on a lie. Perhaps I should set things right... (begins forming the rinne tensei seals)

Hashirama: What are you doing?

Madara: This jutsu will revive everyone that died in this war, at the cost of my life.

(Orochimaru spots Madara lying on the floor, weakened)

Orochimaru: I wanted Sasuke, but this opportunity is too good to pass up. Oh well, this'll do just fine.

Madara: Rinne tensei no-

Orochimaru (forms a hand seal): Fushi tensei no jutsu!

(Orochimaru's body collapses, and "Madara" suddenly gets up)

Hashirama: Madara?

"Madara": Madara? (deranged grin) He's no longer here.

End


I hated TNJing Madara, but rinne tensei getting cockblocked again was too good to pass up

Also, yeah, I know the Madara turning good part sucked.

There's so many hints to it, it's not even funny. Juugo, Kabuto, Hiruzen, Suigetsu, Tsunade - they all questioned is ulterior motive, and even Orochimaru himself stated he was still after Sasuke's body, the OP obviously payed attention - even if the prediction itself wasn't perfect.

Also, what has Orochimaru wanted for the entire series? A) An Uchiha body and B) to learn all jutsu. For a) there's Madara's unconscious body on the battlefield. For b) there's the chakra fruit that the infinite tsukuyomi was supposed to be creating. Tbh, I think this could be the perfect opportunity for Orochimaru.

I love this!!! Orochimaru was my favorite villain, and I would love for him to steal the spotlight back.

On the sages goodbye though..... it leaves a lot to be desired. If his send-off is as simple as "My work is done, goodbye." I'll be very sad

sorry but i didnt like this predication also i predict two reasons to why kishi bought madara back alive first so that madara has a proper exit from the story afterall naruto caming to an end second so that he use madara to revive all that dead in the war using rinne tensei which all of us including me dont want it to happen

yeah right, like everyone around madara will just see orochimaru do his stuff and let him steal his body. and remember even if he did transfer, the ten tails host will be so weakened to move due to extraction. so oro will definitely get soloed by some fodder.

Orochimaru can't take somebody's body instantly he has to wait 3 years every time he gets a new body.
