Gai is gaining momentum in his battle with Madara! Meanwhile, Naruto awakens in a strange place. Who will he meet there?
Naruto: [Eyes Snap Open] [Looks Around] [Stands Up Quickly] Huh? Where am I?
The room is a blank space. Water covers the ground as far as the eye can see. In the sky, a dim light hangs limp in the sky. It's only ray beams down in the distance, casting a mysterious person in a white light.
Naruto: [Confused] Hello?! Who's there? Where am I?!
The figure turns slowly and deliberately. Naruto gasp as he see's his eyes. There a pattern of swirls like the symbol he wears on his back.
???: Come . . . [Fades Away]
Naruto: Oi! Wait! [Runs After Him]
As Naruto get's closer to the beam of light, it's focus gradually increases and soon envelops the entire area. Naruto throws out his hands in front of himself as the ray increases in intensity, vaporizing the water into steam. With nothing supporting him underneath, Naruto plummets into a dark abyss, the light above becoming vague. He reaches out for the light, but he continues to fall further away.
???: You want it don't you? The light? To come out of the darkness?
Naruto: [Looking Around] Who's there?!
???: The darkness can be comforting, too. Look deep withing it's lulling lullaby and seek salvation within it's shadows! Black does not translate to doom!!!
Naruto: [Surprised] [Determined Look] [Closes Eyes and Begins to Focus] [A Figure can be Seen in Distance]
???: Go towards it. Stride to freedom. Hurry! I'm waiting for you Uzumaki Naruto!!!
Naruto: [Still Falling] [Begins to Trudge Legs] [Running Motion in Air] [Begins Moving] [Naruto Runs to Figure]

Madara: I haven't had a battle like this since Hashirama!!! Please, do not disappoint me!!!
Gai: [Lands] I've managed to injure him this much yet he excitedly pushes forward! What a beast. But, then again, so am I!!! [Begins Charging] I'LL END YOU WITH THIS ONE, MADARA!!!
Madara: YES! YES! ATTACK ME WITH ALL YOU'VE GOT!
Gai: [Chakra Madly Swirls Around him] [Fills the Entire Air]
Kakashi: Such an intense Aura!
Minato: Incredible!
Rock Lee: [Tears] Gai-sensei . . .
Gai: [Chakra becomes heavier and more dense]
Madara: [Still Laughing] [Uses Onmyoudou to Encase himself into sphere] [It Cracks and breaks just as quickly as it was formed] [Madara leaves out of it unharmed and completely healed] Let's try this again!
Gai: You're right! At full power this time! [Chakra that became dense fuses together above him into single ball] [It floats down to Gai and he reaches up and grabs it with one hand] [He squeezes the ball and absorbs the energy through his fist] [Suddenly, his fist enlarge into a hulking red mass] [As the energy spreads through his body, it changes those individual body parts as well into a red mass until his entire shape has become a hulking figure]
Gai: Eight Gates Style: Red Giant [Disappears]
Madara: !!! [Figure appears behind him] Tch! [Creates spear of Onmyoudou and thrust forward] [Makes contact with Gai, spear breaks on contact] ?!!!
Gai: [Doesn't Flinch] [Hits Madara]
Madara: Guuurgh! [Flies into ground] [Wheezing] [Gai appears above him]
Gai: [Begins Smashing Madara into Earth]
Kakashi: Now's our chance to escape.
Minato: [Nods] This is our time to make our move.
Rock Lee: Wait! We can't leave Gai-sensei behind!
Kakashi: [Kneels] I understand, Lee. But... right now... I think he's fighting to save us and we can't let that go to vein.
Rock Lee; [Tears] [Turns and Looks at Gai]
Gai: Urraaggh! Uraaghh! [Smashing Madara into ground] [Panel Zoom in] [Looks up at Lee and Smiles]
Rock Lee: [Begins Crying]
Kakashi: C'mon. Let's go.
Kakashi's group begins to take off into the dead of night. Rock Lee spares one last look behind him to see Gai and Madara fighting in the distance.
Minato: Where to now?!
Kakashi: I felt something happen with Sasuke's chakra earlier. It dimmed, but now it's back to normal. I just want to go and check on him!
Minato: Seems like a good plan! After that, we'll head to Kamui world and see how Obito's doing!
Kakashi: Right! Hopefully they're fine!
Rock Lee: . . . Minato-sama!
Minato: ?!! Huh?
Kakashi: [Looks at Minato] [Shocked]
Minato: [Enveloped in light] What's going on?!
Kakashi: I... I remember this aura. This appeared when the Edo's where originally called back!
