Naruto conveys his powerful feelings to a stubborn Obito as he promises to tear the "mask" from his face that hides his true self. Will Naruto be successful in his efforts or will the hot-headedness of Obito be to much for even the charismatic child of prophecy?!
Naruto: (Eyes narrowed) I'm ripping off that mask of yours!
Obito: (Shocked) . . .
[Back to Reality]
Naruto: Pull everyone!!!
The Shinobi Alliance yanks with all their might, trying to free the hostage Bijuu. Obito pulls back just as hard, trying desperately to fight the strength of teamwork and adeptness the Alliance uses. They begin winning the struggle and with one last roar, Naruto gives it his last shot and the Bijuu are sprung free from Obito as his body morphs back into it's humanoid form.
The spiritual bodies of the Bijuu are sent sprawling in different directions. They collide with the ground and role like marbles before shooting off into the air, whisking away towards Naruto's position who stands surprised as they surround him. Suddenly, a blank space is created and Naruto is once again face to face with the Bijuu who smile at him with ease.
Goku: You did it Naruto! We knew we could trust you!
Mattabi: Yes... it seems like you really are the one the Sage foretold of.
Saiken: I'm glad to see a Shinobi that us Tailed Beast could believe in.
Chomei: Now, there's just one last thing to do!
Kokuo: That's right...
Isobu: It's time... we merged with you.
Naruto: Huh?! Merged with me? I thought I already had some of your chakra?
Goku: We only gave you a partial amount. This time, you would effectively become the host of all of us.
???: Yes, Naruto. It is time.
Naruto: K- Kurama!
Kurama: Just hurry up and do as they say. We don't have time to get to become BFF's!
Goku: Okay. We're going to combine with you now... are you ready?
Naruto: Yes... I'm ready.
Goku: Okay let's go everyone!!!
The Bijuu's lunge forward, slowly shrinking into a stream of chakra that sinks into Naruto's skin, replenishing his strength back to 1000%. His wounds fade into simple scars and his body becomes rejuvenated with energy as he feels the true power of the Tailed Beast.
Naruto: Woaaaah!
Kurama: It's time... we meet again... old man.
[Back to Reality]
Obito: (Kneeling, breathing hard) . . . What?! Naruto's ---
Sakura: (Gasp) What's happening to him?!
Sasuke: This is the Bijuu's power eh?
Minato: (Smiling) 'Atta boy... Naruto.
Naruto's Bijuu cloak begins to form outside his body, except this time, it strays from it's normal orange color, instead turning white and black. Full horns grow atop his head and he seems to grow taller as his expression becomes seemingly enlightened with the new found power.
Obito: Shit! He's become just like I was! No--- it seems he's grown even stronger! What? Why? How?! Aghh, Uzumaki Naruto!!!
???: It's because I'm with my friends.
Obito: Huh?!
Naruto: (Suddenly behind Obito with sympathetic look on his face) Having friends in one's life allows you to become infinitely more powerful. Their trust in you propels you forward, making you strive to achieve the impossible. Hell, it could even be as simple as knowing... some names!
Obito: (Tears begin forming in his eyes as he looks down in shame) Rin... Kakashi... Minato-sensei....... Naruto?
Naruto: That's right... we're all here!
Standing by Naruto are a battered and tired Kakashi and a cynical Minato who gazes at his student in sadness. They're all smiling at Obito, telling him it's okay for him to trust for once in his feelings instead of relying on his anger and bitterness.
Obito: .... But where's Rin?
Naruto: (Smiles and pokes his chest with his thumb) She's right there, where's she's always been. In your heart!!!
Obito: (Confused) My heart? (Remembers how he created the hole in his chest when facing Kakashi) I don't have a heart.
Rin: Of course you do! It's right (Points at his chest) there!
Obito: RIN!!!
Rin: (Smiles, fades)
Obito: (Closes eyes and remembers how he wanted to become Hokage and be respected in the village) Okay Naruto. I'll trust you. But first... Rinne Tensei! (Obito uses the handsigns for the jutsu) Nagato, I was wrong for ever calling you a fool. I see what Naruto really is... and his unique ability to open somebody's heart... even in the face of darkness!!!
Energy surges through Obito's body and exits throughout his pores as streaks of light travel wide and far, attaching themselves to the dead bodies of ninja. Naruto and Sasuke look on in amazement as Obito struggles to cling on to life. "For all the pain I've caused to every single one of my friends! This is my repayment!" Obito yells proudly.
The final page is a one-shot of the streaks of light trotting across the globe.
