Naruto 639 – Obito's Terror
Obito swiftly tears through Hashirama’s wood clone and Tobirama. The destroyed clone falls onto its side and Tobirama is left to regenerate from the blow. Hiruzen, who had not been attacked, turns back and forms several hand seals.
Hiruzen: “Kyūsoku Doragonmisairu!” (Rapid Dragon Missile)
The Third Hokage expels multiple volleys of arrow-head shaped fire balls, directing them towards Obito’s back. Chakra arms form from the protrusions on Obito’s back and easily swats the balls of fire away. They then shoot towards Hiruzen and impale him, ripping him apart afterwards.
Minato: “Obito! Why are you doing this!? Please, this is not the way to do this!!”
Obito leaps upwards, intending to land on Gamakichi, but is met by the tanto.
Gamakichi: “There’s no way I’m letting you get on me you creep!!”
Obito catches the blade in his hands, despite the size difference, and moves it to the side with a quick jolt. The blade breaks and Obito continues by using his chakra arms to latch onto the summoning. Naruto quickly dismisses the giant toad however.
Naruto: “I can’t let Gamakichi get hurt! Gamabunta would kill me!”
Sasuke: “Naruto! This is not the time!”
Minato: “Son, he has a point!”
The trio land onto the ground and stare into the large cloud of smoke made from Gamakichi’s exit; as it clears Obito lands before them, his sight still on Naruto.
Sasuke: “He’s targeting Naruto!”
Minato: “I just noticed! Naruto! Sasuke! Run! I’ll buy you two some time!”
The two take their order from Minato and run back, heading towards the alliance. Obito watches them run off and steps forward but Minato steps in his way.
Minato: “Obito, please….I know there is still a part of that boy I knew back then inside you.”
Obito: “I see. So this Obito was your former student. Unfortunately for you, he is no longer here with us.”
Minato: “So……The Juubi has taken control….I will have to prevent you from getting to my son at all costs!”
Minato holds out a seal with his kunai hovering over it.
Minato: “Hiraishin Lv 3: Raineru!” (Thunder God Tunnel)
A large portal opens in between the two and begins pulling Obito in. His blank face still remains as he is sucked into the void created by Minato.
Minato: “As long as that seal is still on your body your are a victim to my Hiraishin!”
Tobirama: “Incredible Hashirama. The way he has mastered my technique is just unbelievable…Hashirama?”
Tobirama realizes that his brother is not with him. He manages to pick up his chakra. Meanwhile, the portal closes on Obito, who has been pulled in. But just when it’s about to completely seal the chakra arms of exit and hold onto the edges, opening them.
Minato: “!?!?”
Shinobi: “No way! He was able to open that!?”
Obito exits the portal and his arms retract, allowing the portal to close. When it does he lunges at Minato, who uses Hiraishin to teleport above him with a Rasengan.
Minato: ‘I hope I’ve bought enough time!’
An Obito chakra arm grows from his back and grabs the sphere, giving Obito a window. With a quick maneuver he turns and swipes his arm across Minato’s body, breaking him in two.
Obito: “Too slow…....Sensei”
Shinobi: “We have to protect Naruto!”
The shinobi alliance use various techniques to set up an Earth barricade with numerous layers. Obito casually walks towards it while the shinobi prepare themselves for another attack.
Sasuke: “Naruto, he must want the Bijuu inside of you!”
Naruto: “Yeah, I know!”
Shikamaru: “If that’s the case, we must devise a plan to get Naruto away from here….Until I come up with a way to attack this guy.”
Ino: “Guys! He’s approaching the barricade! Think fast!”
Obito stops midway and looks to the sky. After the formation of a hand seal the sky starts to darken and clouds draw in.
Obito: “Ten no Reiji.” (Rage of the Heavens)
From the dark clouds lightning strikes the barricade. The earth protecting the shinobi is repeatedly striked again and again by natural lightning, setting off massive explosions and completely devastating the barrier. Those who were towards the front are instantly killed and vaporized by the power. The shockwave from the blasts leaves the shinobi towards the back injured and disorientated.
Naruto: “What…What was that?”
Gyuki: “The Juubi’s control of natural elements!”
Kurama: “Being composed of natural energy it can use natural forces to attack us!”
Shikamaru: “The barricade’s been destroyed…”
Choji: “Leave it to me! Just get Naruto out of here!!!”
Choji runs through the fallen shinobi and holds a seal, allowing him to instantly grow large. Now at the front-line Choji confronts the Jinchuuriki.
Choji: “I will not let you pass me!!!”
Shikamaru: “Wait! Choji!! Retreat!”
Obito glares the giant before him and holds out a finger, gathering chakra at the tip. Choji recalls the use of this and stares wide eyed.
Naruto: “Damnit! Choji run!!!”
From the tip of his finger a massive beam of compressed chakra is fired and shoots straight through Choji’s chest. His massive body drops back as he is killed instantly from the attack sent at him.
Shikamaru: “Choji!!!!!!!!!!”
Ino: “!?!?!?”
Not too far from them Madara is confronted by Hashirama.
Madara: “Hashirama…You finally show yourself. But it’s a little too late now.”
Hashirama: “Madara, please. Let us set our differences aside for now. This man is problem for all of us…Including you.”
Madara: “Why come to me?”
Hashirama: “You should know…We need you.”
Madara: “Hmph. I suppose that if Obito isn’t stopped I’ll never have my battle with you.”
From the distance Madara and Hashirama are standing together, ready to confront Obito. Tobirama is in awe because of the sight.
