Naruto 584: The snake and the child.

The panel shows a young Kabuto and Orochimaru.
Orochimaru: So...we meet again, boy.
Kabuto: You! Why are you here?!?
Orochimaru licking his lips: To take you out of here Kabuto.
Kabuto: What do you mean?!?
Orochimaru: Well...it's obviously that you're no longer good as a spy. So i decided to save you boy. Don't think about this that itms a favor for you. I save you because we don't need any intel to leak out.
Kabuto screams: What intel!?! I haven't spent a day in Konoha since you sent me to spy! I don't know anyhting!
Orochimaru with a menacing look: You know my name. And that's enough.
Kabuto: **** you! What happend to Mother?
Orochimaru revealing a snake tongue: She died. Do youwant to know who did it?
Kabuto: Tell me! Tell me who killed her!
Orochimaru: Come with me...and i will show you who's responsible for her death!
Kabuto hesitates for a moment, then he grabs Orochimaru by his hand. At the same moment Orochimaru makes one simple handsigns and they bothvanish.
The scene presents Kabuto and Orochimaru inside a cave. Several containers are held there. Kabuto goes closer to one of them, and sees something that shocks him. He makes a few steps back frightened.
Orochimaru smling: That's right, boy...they are humans.
Kabuto shouts: You're a monster! A monster!
Orochimaru starts laughing: I'm a scientist. Not a monster. You see, Kabuto...i have a dream.
Kabuto: I don't care. I had a dream too. But you and Danzo destroyed it! I dreamed about living at the orphanage and help everyone! I wanted to be acknowledged, to be able to stand proud of my name! It means a lot for someone like me that doesn't even has a name of his own. I necer knew my real name! I never knew my parents, anything! And when i finally got someone that cared about me, you came and took her away!
Orochimaru looks at Kabuto with sad eyes.
Kabuto: So now tell me who killed her!
Orochimaru: Even if you would know, you aren't able to beat what it killed her.
Kabuto: I don't care what kind of jutsus has the enemy! I will kill him no matter what. So, TELL ME!!!
Orochimaru: Fine i will tell you. She was killed...by the time. She died recently. But i replaced her yesterday using a transformation jutsu...in order to meet you!

They stay like this for a couple of moments. But finally Kabuto breaks the silence.

Kabuto surprised: Master every jutsu? You're insane! What's the point!?! Eventually you will die, and all that knowledge will die with you.
Orochimaru licking his lips: Who said that i will die?
Kabuto: What...what do you mean?
Orochimaru: My latest research allowed me to find a way to cheat death. It requires a great sacrifice and pain, but it's a way.
Kabuto: You know what...thank you for saving me...i have listened to your story, but now i will take the correct decision.
Orochimaru looks at him with a genuine sad look.
Orochimaru thinking: If this boy has any mind...he will reach the only conclusion. If not...i just wasted my time with him.
Kabuto turns around and looks at Orochimaru.
Kabuto: I'm sorry...but i cannot follow you.*
Kabuto tries to walk away and he tripes up and almost falls on the ground.
Orochimaru notices and instantly appears in front of him, hitting him with his right hand's five fingers, that are covered in chakra, right in the chest.
Orochimaru: Seal release! Mind control divise!
Kabuto gets throwed away by the jutsu and he loses his senses for a moment.
Orochimaru thinking: He was under someone's control. And jugding by the way that the jutsu was used, it wasn't a good one.
Kabuto regains his senses and looks at Orochimaru.
Kabuto: What did you do to me?!? I feel strange...free...
Orochimaru: You were controled by someone. Did anyone placed a seal in you?
Kabuto: There was this one time in the Hidden Sand...
Orochimaru grins: Sasori of the Red Sand!
Kabuto: Exactly! But how did you now?
Orochimaru: For a shinobi it's very unusual to simply stumble.*

Orochimaru: So what do you say? Do you want to join me, Kabuto Yakushi?

The scene shows Kabuto facing Itachi and Sasuke.

He suddenly stops. The panel shows his face. He coughs alot of blood. He instantly loses his Sage Mode.

The scene shows Sasuke behind Kabuto. And then, the panel presents Kabuto's body. A lightning spear pierced him in the chest.
Kabuto turns his head and looks at Sasuke.
Sasuke: You have a sad life. Like all of us. But that doesn't give you the right to mess with people. Dead people.So...you will die.
Itachi instantly dashes towards Kabuto and manages to catch him into a Tsukuyomi.
Itachi thinking: The Tsukuyomi will give me enough time to make him release the Edo. But now i have to deal with Sasuke.
Itachi: Why did you do this?
Sasuke: Because i despise him. He is a snake and he mustdie as a snake.*
Itachi: I told you, that we must release the Edo Tensei first.
Sasuke: No brother...you must explain me something. Because when the Edo Tensei it's over, you will perish.
Itachi defeated: So...Sasuke, tell me then...what do you want to know?

Kabuto slithers sideways looking for an opening between the two brothers. He still holds his hands in a seal.
Kabuto: Izanami, Itachi? You think you can use that jutsu against me?
Itachi: so you have heard even that name, you really are a snake Kabuto.

Itachi: Sasuke, Izanami is the partner jutsu to Izanagi. It also has similar limitations as well.

Itachi: For one the effect of Izanami depends on the chakra capacity and the strength of the user. The stronger the user the greater the effect of Izanami. In theory if one body could have enough chakra than this Juts could literally change the world.

Itachi: yes…but the price is great. The user of Izanami sacrifices both of his eyes to use this jutsu, and this jutsu also requires that the chakra used be sacrificed permanently.

Itachi: which means that for the person who uses this, once the technique is released death is almost a certainty as they will be permanently blind and bereft ofthe chakra they once had…a mere shell of their former self.

Sasuke: My arrow still remained after danzou used Izanagi and so did the damage to the ground. Danzou only ever used Izanagi on himself not on my attacks or me, he became an illusion when it suited him so he could avoid my attacks.
Itachi: Technically that is correct, what he did was createan illusion that replaced the reality about himself.
Itachi moves forward still facing off against kabuto
Itachi: Whenever your attack was about to hit or actually hit him he created the illusion that he was elsewhere and replaced his position in reality with the one in his illusion. Izanagi the jutsu the sage himself used to create.

Kabuto dashes towards Itachi, the cave shakes all around them as thousands of snakes burst out of the ground and from the roof striking towards them.

Itachi: That won’t work this time, but you’re right, the time for games is over.

The blinding light encompasses the whole cave obliterating everything from view.
As the light fades and everything comes back into view. Sasuke stands behind Itachi, he lowers his hands from hiseyes. Itachi is standing up straight, in front of him Kabuto and all the other snakes attacking them have frozen in place. Kabuto’s mouth is wide open and out ofit is coming the sword of Kusanagi the point of which is a hairs breadth away from Itachi’s forehead.
Itachi:…I see, so you were going to remove the tag frommy forehead with that. Unfortunately your movements were to slow against the eyes of an Uchiha Kabuto.
Sasuke: What…what happened.
Itachi: Izanami is the ultimate genjutsu that cannot be countered or broken. Unlike a normal genjutsu which affects a person and controls them, this allows you to control the reality around you by controlling the genjutsu you place on yourself.
Sasuke: What?!!
Itachi: In my genjutsu Kabuto is not moving and neitheris anything else in this cave.
Kabuto slowly stands straight and looks straight at Itachi, he forms some seals with his hands. The snakes all begin to disintegrate and disappear from the cave.
Itachi: In my genjutsu we are the best of friends and I have asked him to get rid of all these snakes.
Itachi turns to face sasuke *Tsukoyomi*!!
Sasuke finds himself facing Itachi in the ever shifting world of Tsukoyomi

Itachi: I don’t have much time before this technique releases sasuke, and I do not want to lie to you anymore, so the rest of our reunion will have to be conducted here.

Scene changes back to the cave
Itachi: There is still a choice for you to make Sasuke but this time I will leave it up to you to make. If you choose to use it, then remember what you will need for Izanami.

Itachi turns to face Kabuto. Kabuto slowly brings his hands together and forms the Seals *Dog, Horse, Tiger* ‘Release’
Scene Switches to lots of little scenes showing all the other Edo’s begin to disintegrate away flaking away into the wind and then switches back again.
Itachi:....and now before I disappear as well there is just one last thing to do.
Itachi Walks over and picks up Sasuke’s sword. He walksback over to Kabuto and stabs him through right in themiddle of his chest. He turns around to face Sasuke and you see his eyes closing and sealing up.
Sasuke: Ni’san?!!
Itachi: Goodbye Sasuke
Kabuto: Don’t worry Itachi, I’ll take good care of your little brother
Itachi/Sasuke:?!!!
Sasuke Looks over to see Kabuto standing up once more, the sword flies out from his chest and from the hole a massive white snake erupts forth. It keeps comingout faster growing longer circling around Kabuto’s bodyuntil it has completely come out and finally as it rises above him it strikes completely devouring him in one bite.
Itachi: Sasuke?! What is happening?!
The snake turns and here and there moving about the cave rapidly until it suddenly stops and opens its mouth wide. Out of its mouth slowly a head and body protrude.
Orochimaru: Kukuku, I must thank you for this gift Itachi kun, to think my own apprentice would learn enough to be able to contain me?!
Itachi: Orochimaru!!!
Orochimaru: kukuku yes Itachi kun and thanks to you Iam now in a body almost worthy of me and with the sage art that my young apprentice has learnt I promise to take good care of your brother when I have his bodykukuku!!
Itachi is slowly disintegrating away as his blind eyes look towards Orochimaru.
Itachi: I’m sorry Sasuke, you’ll have to take care of this snake on your own.
Sasuke: I’m sorry ni’san but I will be sending this snake right behind you!!

Kabuto slowly stands straight and looks straight at Itachi, he forms some seals with his hands. The snakes all begin to disintegrate and disappear from the cave.

Itachi turns to face Kabuto. Kabuto slowly brings his hands together and forms the Seals *Dog, Horse, Tiger* ‘Release’
Scene Switches to lots of little scenes showing all the other Edo’s begin to disintegrate away flaking away into the wind and then switches back again.
Itachi:....and now before I disappear as well there is just one last thing to do.
Itachi Walks over and picks up Sasuke’s sword. He walksback over to Kabuto and stabs him through right in themiddle of his chest. He turns around to face Sasuke and you see his eyes closing and sealing up.
Sasuke: Ni’san?!!
Itachi: Goodbye Sasuke
Kabuto: Don’t worry Itachi, I’ll take good care of your little brother
Itachi/Sasuke:?!!!
Sasuke Looks over to see Kabuto standing up once more, the sword flies out from his chest and from the hole a massive white snake erupts forth. It keeps comingout faster growing longer circling around Kabuto’s bodyuntil it has completely come out and finally as it rises above him it strikes completely devouring him in one bite.
Itachi: Sasuke?! What is happening?!
The snake turns and here and there moving about the cave rapidly until it suddenly stops and opens its mouth wide. Out of its mouth slowly a head and body protrude.
Orochimaru: Kukuku, I must thank you for this gift Itachi kun, to think my own apprentice would learn enough to be able to contain me?!
Itachi: Orochimaru!!!
Orochimaru: kukuku yes Itachi kun and thanks to you Iam now in a body almost worthy of me and with the sage art that my young apprentice has learnt I promise to take good care of your brother when I have his bodykukuku!!
Itachi is slowly disintegrating away as his blind eyes look towards Orochimaru.
Itachi: I’m sorry Sasuke, you’ll have to take care of this snake on your own.
Sasuke: I’m sorry ni’san but I will be sending this snake right behind you!!
