Minato's best is yet 2 be shown, as for the pic with the monster thingy it was probly a tailless beast but it was clearly sealed like a tailed beast would have been.

how many things did we learn in that episode was full of win lol. okey so... kushina is from the land of eddie bit odd name of a land lol but anyway. the sign on the back of naruto is there symbol that was pretti kool. sasuke was named after the 3rds father that was interesting. and the masked man i guess we're all pressuming that was tobi where was his orange mask hahah!

cant believe we finally saw kyuubi mode saw it ages ago on trailer of naruto generations, didnt think we'd see it this early although i guess was gona be around this time with him training so yea, sweetness! :)

For your information:

In fluid dynamics, an eddy is the swirling of a fluid and the reverse current created when the fluid flows past an obstacle. The moving fluid creates a space devoid of downstream-flowing fluid on the downstream side of the object. Fluid behind the obstacle flows into the void creating a swirl of fluid on each edge of the obstacle, followed by a short reverse flow of fluid behind the obstacle flowing upstream, toward the back of the obstacle. This phenomenon is most visible behind large emergent rocks in swift-flowing rivers.

So ... basically its a whirlpool caused by an object in a stream/river
