Kushina is sooooo cute!! and also Minato ,...he deserves to be Hokage,. he is quiet,intelligent and skilled since he was a kid ,. i mean ,he took care of the 3 buddies,.by himself like a FLASH ,.. its really great to see how strong MINATO and KUSHINA are,. ITS ALSO A GOOD EPISODE,.

Anyway, I really loved this episode. I'd been looking forward to it for so long and then that just NAILED IT, what with the animation and the music and just... Everything. I love these scenes between Naruto and Kushina, their mother-to-son moments. Like when Naruto realized who she was and hugged her, then when Kushina went on to tell him those special words. Minato and Kushina's relationship was also very cute in this episode. Can't wait for the next one. This deserves a 5/5. End of story.

Side Note: I was watching Sawyer7mage's review for this episode on YouTube and he brought up an interesting point about that scene between Kushina and those two boys, the younger and older brother. That scene kind of makes you feel a little deja vu, doesn't it? S'like they made that filler scene to bounce off of Sakura's little blossoming from Part One in the Forest of Death. Just a thought I agreed with him on.

that was one of my most favorite episodes it was just so amazing from how giddy naruto was to see his mom to learn the story of how his mom and dad met then kushina and seeing her as a kid beating up kids then minato being afraid of her but it the entire episode was just awesome loved it i was really looking forward to seeing this few chapters and the first episode lives up hopefully the next two will be just as amazing one sad thing is that naruto will never see his parents after this

I know I'm new and late on adding my comment to this topic but have anyone noticed a boy standing next to Minato in Ninja Academy? The scene where this boy and Minato were smiling to Kushina after she beated up several boys who were calling her tomato. This boy was wearing a typical Uchiha attire. I wonder if this was done intentionally to establish a friendship between Uchiha and a future 4th Hokage?
