In Japan, today is December 6th, the day The Last: Naruto the Movie officially opens in theaters. Naruto’s creator, Masashi Kishimoto, was at one of the screenings in Tokyo to deliver some exciting news – there will be a Naruto 2015 Movie! The title for the new film was not announced, but it will debut in Japanese theaters next year in August and Kishimoto-sensei will serve as the chief production supervisor. The movie revolves around Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga’s son, Boruto (also known as Bolt), who made his debut in the 700th and final chapter of the Naruto manga. Joining him will be Sarada, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno’s daughter. Kishimoto-sensei mentioned that he conceived the story and a special fighting move for Boruto.
TOHO, the company behind distribution of the films in Japan, also reserved the Internet address boruto-movie.com. The address currently does not point to any website.
