Fans made up that nonsense.

People often say ohhh Naruto and Sasuke got exponentially stronger.

How sway?

How does traveling and being a Konoha teacher make you uber stronger??

The only big threats they had after the war was toneri and momo.

There no way that petty little ninja disputes would boost them farrr beyond vote 2.

It’s just unrealistic. They might be more experienced but they didn’t leave their vote 2 counterparts in the dust. That’s just ludicrous.

There was no constant threats nor power boost to push them that far.

Naruto got full Kurama now that’s it. That’s just more chakra. Nothing more.

The fan fiction got to stop.

Naruto using Earth style: Earth Wall and Sasuke learning to open portals. He didn't have it when the Naruto Manga ended, but he does now. So yeah they've gotten stronger.

And teh Naruto has an arm(ninja tool)which absorbs ninjutsu, he didn't have that before.

I just realised teh Boruto is like Naruto requring an external power up(Hand out) to help him

You say it because authors did not show their potential ; they nerfed them so bad ..... Heck. I was so upset when Shin could handle both of them :elmo: and it was even worse when Momoshiki nearly killed Sasuke as if he doesn’t know Preta path :elmo:
I think as adults , they can seal Kaguya themselves now (without Obito and Sakura and Kakashi’s help)
