I think the symbolic thing about the whole cpr thing is Sakura actually has a thing for naruto. It's been foreshadowed ever since Naruto began. NaruSaku disagree or whatever I think is definitely going to happen. The only person that could possibly get in the way is Hinata. But if you were writing a story with a person at near death in it. A thing to do is put a lover by their side. Whether that character dies or survives. They both care deeply for one another. SURE IT WAS ONLY CPR. BUT for sakura to do it.... Also sakura wasn't disgusted she was determined to bring him back to life and also trying to squeeze his heart to pump blood was the reason for not looking at him in the face.... idiots...

Naruto+Sakura= smarts and chakra control, strength and bravery. Naruto needs to get hit for the things he says and sakura does just that.

Naruto+Hinata= Naruto has shown no signs of liking her but only as a friend. No foreshadowing between the 2 to hint that they would be together.

Naruto ending up with Sakura would defeat Hinata's purpose if we look into portrayal imo. She deserves him so much and as been ignored for a long time. Not saying Sakura doesn't, but i think they're better as team members/best friends.

Naruto + Hinata.
Lee + Sakura.
Sasuke + Karin.

Those would be my choices :>
