NaruSaku sends a bad message.

The whole idea is that Naruto has been after Sakura for a long time, but Sakura shows no reciprocity. Hinata on the other hand, loves and appreciates Naruto.

It is not a good message for Naruto and Sakura to end up together. Not when Hinata was the one that appreciated Naruto, not only now, but for her whole life. She was there to comfort him when Neji died, she was willing to die to save Naruto from Pain.

Ever seen the ending of 500 Days of Summer? It just the same idea. Don't chase someone who doesn't like you when the perfect match is out there, sometimes right before your eyes.

No, Naruto cares for Hinata, just not in that way. Sakura just insults and punches Naruto around. Besides, personality wise, NaruHina is a much better match.

Naruto didn't even come close to showing the same level of dedication to Sakura than that Hinata showed towards Naruto. He will come around soon enough.

and when did naruto find out hinata love him ? invasion of pein and after that they never really gotten a chance to until a few times in the war arc
how long as it been since for sakura since she knew about naruto's feelings? since day one but she didnt care because sasuke was the one on her mind.

For the record, I think Sakura is an awesome character, she is the best female Kunoichi of her generation, most intelligent member of her team, and the second best healer in the whole five nations, to name a few. And even if I prefer her to she end up with Naruto, as long as i have a classic Disney ending where everyone is happy, I'll be fine, regardless her final partner.

Well you have see it from a certain charachter POV, ie, in this case Naruto's POV and not using Eagle eye POV ...... Naruto looks for affection and a thing that is already given to someone else, while not returning the same that is given to him, so under this conditions what should you do as Naruto?

When Sasuke was a nut case, Sakura was still crazy in love with him, even though the guy had no redeeming qualities except for his looks.

Your argument is if sakura gave up sasuke and went for naruto she'd be a bad person.
But the same applies to naruto giving up sakura to go for hinata.
